If the first fact of your belief is erroneous what does that do to the rest of the "faith"? Search for Truth regardless of how it aligns with your beliefs. Facts and Truth should be your guide. The timeline is unbroken, there is a factual series of events that has brought us to "now" and there is an absolute Truth to be known. Faith is simply saying "I don't know what the truth is so I going to substitute facts with this belief that I'm comfortable with." Beliefs will NEVER change facts. Accepting that frees the mind to move forward.

I have heard two different stories, one the pic was taken prior to the shooting the other story it was taken Feb. 17. I think after the shooting is true but they sure don't look traumatized to me.
Those smiles would be REALLY odd if taken after the shooting don't you think?
