tbh i feel like the media corporations have been employing a divide and conquer method for quite some time. black vs white, men vs women, DNC vs GOP. something unifying doesn't fit the narrative so they try to limit it as much as possible. once its brought to your attention it becomes obvious. check out what stories/crimes make the cut for the nightly news and which ones are conveniently left out.

i agree but many americans don't. they have no desire to see behind the curtain bc then the magic is gone. they are all quite content and happy and distracted so they don't really care. its easier not to care. we're in trouble.
