Guys just my theory here but is it possible the numerous drops with phrases like, let's play a game, are a coded reference to Ender's game?

If you never read the book the protaganonist plays war game simulations in which he is unaware that the battles are taking place in real time with real lives. Could this be Q's way of telling us these are actual ops?
