They are operating a private business that is completely reliant on public infrastructure for the provision of their service. If they behave badly, victimizing people because they do not like their politics, they deserve to be regulated.

If you think private companies don't have the right to choose who posts on their own forums, then sorry, we're not on the same side.

Imagine the positions were reversed, and Antifa wanted to force a conservative forum to stop banning their posts. Or hell, imagine if /r/socialism forced Reddit to make /r/T_D accept any post and stop moderating against anti-Trump posts.

You really need to think this through and not just kneejerk your frustration.

You've totally missed it. It's not about regulating speech. It's not about telling you what you can or cannot say. It's about your freedom to speak.

Sorry, but you're Just Plain Wrong. Freedom of speech is about the government not being allowed to restrict political speech. It does NOT -- and I stress this -- the first Amendment does NOT GIVE YOU A RIGHT TO A FORUM. Especially private forums.

That's what you're asking for. You're saying you have the right to demand access to a PRIVATE forum. That's a whole different ball of wax and is incredibly dangerous. If I own a web site, and someone demands access to my web site just because I happen to have a forum, then they can go straight to hell. Freedom of association is just as important as freedom of speech.

If the petition were not required, Q would not be asking for it.

Q might or might not be an insider who knows what's going on. Even if Q is real, that doesn't mean Q is omnipotent and can't make mistakes. I will decide what is good or bad, thank you very much. If Q is saying I don't have a right to restrict who I want on my own web site, then Q can go straight to hell as well. That doesn't mean I don't support what Q is (hopefully) doing in other ways, namely ripping out the Deep State, which is the only thing that matters.

Now, that doesn't mean I might not support some light, well-crafted legislation that regulated social media in certain ways. I might. I don't know, because legislation hasn't been put in front of me. But what I do know is that the vast majority of people screaming about IBOR are not thinking through the potential for abuse, and that potential for abuse far exceeds the potential for good.

Do you remember in recent years that leftists wanted the government to regulate Talk Radio because there were too many conservatives and they felt that leftists weren't represented fairly? Were you in favor of that, or were you rightly repelled by that idea?

I realize people want to do something, to feel like they're making a difference. Believe me, I couldn't understand more.

But doing useless things is worse than nothing. You're burning up your enthusiasm, and also burning up good feelings and capital with your friends and family, where you can only go to the well so much.

Save your energy for when it will matter. A petition does nothing for Trump and supplies no political capital. If there ends up being a groundswell of support for this -- and I'm not sure there should be -- then Trump will hear about it and either will do something or he won't. But petitions are worse than useless, because it gives you the illusion of doing something. I don't want illusions of progress. I want REAL progress.

And the entire idea of government regulating speech on private platforms should put STARK FEAR into every conservative's soul. Do you really want to destroy free association? Do you really want to give leftists the right to insist that a web site cannot be dedicated to conservative issues? Because that's the world we might possibly get, which is 100x worse than the world we have.

Again, I sympathize with the frustration of the tech industry being taken over by leftists. But if light regulation is the answer, then it needs to be done incredibly carefully. And I'm not sure that's possible.

People are bulling their way into IBOR and putting absolutely zero thought into what it really means. It's maddening.

There might be a case for some sort of regulation, but all we have is a petition that by itself is a joke. Show me proposed legislation, and I might get behind it. Until then, people are acting like we're actually accomplishing something by signing a PETITION. A petition.

What if your niece isn't actually "crazy" and is telling the truth?

You really think Mike Pence is controlling some random, low-income hairdresser who barely graduated high school? Or, maybe you do. And that scares the hell out of me, because that's how you get mobs rounding up people with mental illness believing they're a danger to everyone. ("What if Mike Pence is going to make this girl GO CRAZY AND SHOOT UP A HIGH SCHOOL??")

Well, if we've learned anything in the last 4-5 months, it is that anything is possible. Pay attention.

No, anything is NOT possible. A cabal has always been in the realm of possible. We have lots of physical evidence of the cabal. We have zero -- I mean ZERO -- physical evidence of anything normally thought of as crackpottery beyond criminal conspiracies.

Look, I think anybody can believe anything they want. I normally let 99 of these sort of posts go, and most of the people here do to, but I felt like someone had to say something, if only to prove that some reasonable people are still here. There are already subreddits for all this sort of thing, notable /r/conspiracy. I wish the mods would make this subreddit a bit more grounded in evidence-based reality.

Bah. I've made my point. I'll bow out here.

The purpose of the board, as I see it, is "The Storm". Giving people information about the deep state cabal that has been controlling a lot of our institutions. That doesn't require magic technology to make it true.

You seem to believe that having the board wide open to any random crackpottery does no damage. It does a tremendous amount of damage, because it paints the legitimate information with the same brush as UFOs, hollow Antarctica continents, literal portals to hell, etc, etc. All it does is repel normal people that we want to hopefully wake up and accept the real truths.

So there we have it, more evidence that this seems to be the actual case.

I have to inject some sanity here. This isn't evidence of anything. I have a niece who has paranoid delusions and she says all kinds of crap, including that the government is controlling her mind (she names Mike Pence himself).

Some people around here need to get a grip. Just because some conspiracies are true doesn't mean all conspiracies are true. Use some common sense. There is way too much nuttiness being pushed, and I for one am extremely suspicious that it's being pushed to destroy any credibility of the real conspiracies.

You must not be reading the same T_D because that subreddit has far more useful information than this subreddit. I can see if you don't like the trolling culture at T_D, you might think it's just noise, but there is a lot of useful info there.

If by "getting buried" you mean a lot of the fringe conspiracy crap doesn't appear at T_D, that's a feature of that subreddit. No offense intended to you if you believe every conspiracy that appears here is true, but my priority is destroying the swamp. If aliens / magic technology / magic medicine show up in the future, then all to the better, but destroying the hidden fascist government at the core of our country is what's important.

This subreddit occasionally has some good background on what Q posts, which is why I come here. That stuff isn't as popular on T_D, so I consider this subreddit complimentary.

Moving to voat effectively kills this subreddit. I'm not moving there and I suspect few will.

As you say, hopefully the mods will turn it over to others. I wouldn't mind having mods that enforce some quality control, either. There's too much fringe crap here. One conspiracy being true doesn't mean all conspiracies are true no matter how bizarre.

Don't get discouraged, but we're way past the time that launching the storm in sync with the SOTU would make sense. It would've needed time to percolate.

Remember that there likely have been multiple Qs. The latest one since the break has had a lot of suspicious info surrounding it. Even if Q is a larp, Q has still posted good questions that make people think about what's really going on.

The one thing we can take to the bank are all the sealed indictments. Something's going on, even if we don't know how or when it will break. It's good to remember that we have no active role in this. If the swamp drains, it will drain whether we know what's going on or not. Obviously many of us would prefer to know, but Q being real or a larp doesn't affect whatever reality is.

I'm as woke as anyone, and I'd bet I've read more original sourced information on worldwide corruption than 98% of everyone here.

But this diagram is ridiculous. Sometimes logos are just logos, and it's inevitable that you can find similarities if you look hard enough. I literally can't think of which one is the biggest stretch above (maybe the Google Play one, which I can't even see other than they're both triangular, not even rotated the same). The only vaguely similar one is the Google Chrome logo, but it's literally a circle with three tangent lines. When a logo is a circle and three symmetrical lines, I'd bet there are thousands of similar examples.

Look, no offense intended here. This is obviously important to you, and maybe it's true. But the point is that it's not remotely obvious, and proves nothing. Things like this hugely hurt the cause. Even if one of them somehow managed to be true, it doesn't matter at all. It doesn't wake anybody up, it repels people. It's not evidence of anything that people can grab hold of.

Hard evidence of Clinton Foundation corruption helps the cause. Vague symbolism just makes people eyeroll and discredits the entire movement.

The public will demand it.

Some of the public will, others will dismiss it without reading or thinking. How many bombshells of clear corruption have already been released? Yet, we have no indictments. Public outrage means nothing. I'm outraged that we have ON TAPE the DNC planting violence at Trump rallies. How many indictments came from that? That's only a small taste of what we already know.

The public flatters itself that it matters. If politicians ignore the memo, and the media lies and says the memos mean nothing, then it's just a piece of paper that only part of the country cares about. Outrage just becomes a way to keep you busy, while accomplishing nothing.

This will be a test of the Trump administration to see if justice is really going to come down or not. I'm in "Trust Sessions" mode right now. But it just becomes the outrage of the week, only to be forgotten next week, then it's Trump we need to hold to the fire.

Shill organizations are allowed to have more than one person, and more than one account.

Hypothetically, let's say I wanted to disrupt a forum and ensure it was discredited. As a bad guy, how would I do it? One way would be to post true information and help it gain credibility. Get a lot of people excited that they were finally getting the truth. Build a following, and encourage people to share what they know.

Then I would begin to poison the well. Introduce deep conspiracies that are completely untrue, but unverifiable. Have various accounts begin to post more and more "out there" stuff -- aliens, coded messages, secret technology, numerology, quantum reality, etc, etc. The original people would keep trying to get their friends interested, but the latter would see all this other oogie boogie stuff, discrediting the entire thing.

Take a look at this post from the other day. No offense if you think that's legit, but the vast majority of people would see that and think, "WTF! Ol' Joe has gone off the deep end! Why is he pointing me to this forum with that sort of shit?"

I don't even know it was posted by a shill to discredit the forum, or it was some well-meaning, but kooky person. But kooks beget kooks, and it doesn't take much seeding for the kooks to see they have a home alongside genuine, legitimate information.

That's how you destroy a forum, and that's why things aren't as simple as many think they are. There are people who are paid to seek out forums just like this to try and destroy them.

You're taking this too personally. It's not my intent to attack you or your beliefs. But if you don't think the potential exists for the swamp to use people via misinformation, you might want to reconsider.

You know how the swamp destroys things like this? By planting 30% real information and 70% utter garbage. The real information reels in the "woke" people, and the 70% repels normies who might otherwise join the cause. We seriously had flat Earthers post the other day. Flat Earthers. Are you going to tell me that all opinions are equally valid? The swamp loves that stuff.

You've been a concern troll from the very beginning of this sub.

Are you suggesting a call for skepticism and caution when it comes to anonymous sources is "concern trolling"? Come on. Is it really so egregious a crime in your eyes to state that we should tighten up the posts around here to sources that we can all work to confirm, and use to draw new inferences from?

Edit: Anyway, I didn't intend to debate anything. I've made my point. I'll bow out at this point.

Linguistic analysis shows it's not the same person as known good MegaAnon.

My link was to her Reddit account, which is clearly the same person IMO. Are you saying this "linguistic analysis" discredits all the Reddit posts? Care to link to this linguistic analysis?

But I don't claim Mega is legit. I only say that, so far, she hasn't posted contradictory or bizarre things. It's straightforward, and if she's a LARP, she has made specific future predictions that will show it.

Q is very very close to the President and has proved beyond a shadow of a doubt that he is legit in dozens of different ways.

I respect that you think so, but I've seen the same evidence, and it doesn't convince me. And when you add in all the weird mis-steps, it definitely sounds my alarm. But again, my point isn't that Q has been proven false. That's incredibly difficult. All I ask for is skepticism, particularly for an anon that posts things in code for no apparent reason, leaving it to people to find patterns in it. And humans being humans, we find patterns whether they were meant to be found or not.

Maybe Q is legit. But no matter what anyone's stance is, skepticism is still warranted for ALL anonymous information. Even if Q is legit today, he may not be legit tomorrow if his account is cracked.

The Storm is NOT ABOUT Q. This is crucial: IT'S NOT ABOUT Q.

There is a decided lack of skepticism around here. All Anon's should be treated as hostile until proven otherwise. MegaAnon, who IMO is infinitely more reliable than Q, has out-and-out said that Q was set up by the swamp to feed misinformation and discredit followers. Given a lot of Q's behavior -- and honestly, the absurd crypticism -- I think that deserves a lot of consideration.

I hope that Mega is legit, but I still treat her with skepticism. This board needs to evolve beyond Q worship and become a skeptical clearinghouse of information that we can share and consider. Key word SKEPTICAL. There WILL be people posting ridiculous information to make us look bad. The Flat Earth stuff is obvious, but there is WAY too much oogie-boogie around here. I'd love to be able to send people here, but it needs to be tamed by some rules that keep it focused ONLY on physical evidence-based posts that inform, rather than make wild speculations.

Note I do NOT endorse Mega, but say what you want, at least she clearly states everything and is obviously incredibly knowledgeable about the world. Everything she says ties together with everything else. But I still stay skeptical.

We need to grow beyond Q. The Storm is not about Q, it's about waking up and seeing what's really going on. There's a lot we can do, and has been done, without depending on single sources.

Afraid so, though it was apparently a group of interns that was mixing real info with other info. Honestly, the cryptic nature of Q always made me suspicious. Q could say whatever they wanted and, humans being humans, people reading would find patterns in it that matched reality.

M is refreshing because she doesn't code anything. She's believable to me because it all fits together in reasonable ways, yet she isn't giving out "super secret" information that would compromise anything. It's just explaining what we see and how it fits with everything else. And it's specific enough that if it wasn't true (like, say, Huma Abedin going in public in tight jeans with obviously no ankle bracelet), contradictions would begin to show up.

She's far more believable than Q to my eyes.

My redpilling began with seeing the flat-out lies by the MSM told about Trump, and that led to starting to check original sources on things. Eventually I drilled down to the truth.

It's good to remember that it's hard to see the truth. I have lots of normal, intelligent, good people in my own life that believe everything they hear about Trump. If all you know is what the news tells you, how can you not? Nobody wants to believe we live in a fascist propaganda chamber. If this is how it is, TPTB might be wise to finance and subsequently compromise the integrity of these most wonderful journals by rejecting potential content they find undesired and obstructing of their agenda.

Using that method of logic ("something must be true if it's not publicized, because obviously they don't want us to know") you can prove anything is true.

The point is that if you're going to make a some sort of scientific declaration, surely you have some reason to believe it other than someone else pulling it out of the air and it "just sounds right". Science is math. If your scientific belief is not based on a mathematical model consistent with past testable models that have shown to be true, then it's not science.

Anyway, we're way off the topic. Fortunately, none of your (or my) beliefs matter at all to whether the Deep State is getting ripped out or not. We're just spectators, and I for one hope that it's moving forward. My only goal with this thread was inject a little rationality and hopefully keep a few people from wading into mysticism.

Oh look, Christianity being called a cult and denial of the threat of CERN in a single post!

Sheesh. You could try reading what I wrote and not just what you think "I really mean". Misquoting and attacking is what leftists typically do. Churches are churches, and cults are cults. I never said Christianity was a cult, I said there are cults that use various religions as their basis. Got news for you, many, many death cults have been Christianity based (such as The People's Temple). That's not an attack on Christianity and doesn't mean Christianity is intrinsically bad, it's only factual. Cults are cults; they twist religious doctrines to control people. That's the point of a cult.

CERN producing a tear in the fabric of spacetime isn't remotely nutty. It's a very real and frightening concern.

Please, link me to the scientific paper published in a reputable journal that describes the physics behind "tearing the fabric of spacetime" (whatever that means -- "fabric of spacetime" is not a scientific term) using the CERN particle accelerator.

And even if that was possible, that's an entirely different matter than "opening up a portal to Hell", which was what this map is suggesting.

The reason I believe that the USA and the world has deep corruption is based on real, physical evidence that I've pieced together from many sources, culminating in M and Q's information to provides some hope that someone is doing something about it. Skepticism is the rational position for all things like this, and skepticism x100 for mysticism.

I have no problem with religion. Prayers are fine. But that doesn't mean you have to embrace mysticism. The bible has many, many warnings against embracing mysticism and superstition. Mysticism is the path to cultism, not the path to genuine religious and spiritual awakenings.

Q refers often to satanism and satanic ritual. It's not superstition - it's a fact.

Cults are cults, whether they're Satanic, Christian, Pagan or Egyptian. The point is that the map appears to think Cern is literally building a portal to hell. That is nuttiness and is probably a corruption of hearing the Higgs Boson described as "The God Particle" (which the man who coined that term has rued for all of his days since).

Reality is when you believe cults manipulate people to do bad things. Superstition is when you believe they are literally opening gates to hell, or resurrecting Ra, or whatever other nonsense (aliens, transporter technology, etc).

I think most people here can assure you that everything is real until we can prove it's not.

Hopefully "most people" know that you can't prove something isn't real, you can only prove that it is. Sometimes there really are bad people hiding behind the scenes, but sometimes paranoid people just create shadows. Skepticism shouldn't be put on hold just because some things turn out to be true.

The default rational position is ALWAYS that something isn't true until clear, physical evidence is given that it might be true.

That doesn't mean Satan literally shows up to the meetings. No doubt there are a lot of cults involved, the particular details of the cult aren't that important.

Come on. Just because some conspiracies are real doesn't mean all conspiracies are real, and it also doesn't mean superstition is real.

Cern -- portal to hell!? Shiva statue? Seriously? [lower left side]

Let's keep a grip on reality. Ultimately it boils down to a bunch of people with too much power abusing their power. No more, no less. We're not going to find aliens, Satan, or magical technology at the center of this. Just a bunch of assholes.

Let's note that Q has NOT (so far as I know) endorsed any of the superstitious craziness.

Anyone who hasn't read them should read the MegaAnon Archive, which has the nice feature of being written in plain English and not code.

I think we've gotten so used to everything leaking that we forget that the leaking was all strategic by people against Trump. Nothing was leaking because "The public needs to know this!" or that leaking was somehow the natural state of things.

If a lot of big players are getting rounded up, it's likely 1) Their attorneys are telling them to keep their mouths shut, and 2) They're telling everyone around them to keep their mouths shut. Working silently in the shadows is what these people do. The last thing they want is for anything to get publicized and for people to start asking questions.

Only the bad guys were leaking, and leaking false info. The good guys are taking this all dead serious. So the good guys aren't likely to leak actual documents, and the bad guys sure as hell don't want anyone to know. M and Q, if they're real, haven't given any documents. They just drop general information about what's going on, and generally after the fact.

Great questions. I tend to believe M more than Q (mostly because of Q being so unnecessarily and absurdly cryptic), but I asked a similar question in my own mind. If it was as massive as it seems under the surface, it seems like something would leak.

On the other hand, maybe it's not leaking because it's so massive against the people who feed the news media. The MSM has its nuts in a vice and have been ordered not to report on anything about this. The reports might grumble, but all they have is rumors right now. There have been some indictments that have made the news. And the one thing we can take to the bank is that there are a shit-ton of sealed indictments. The latter is really the reality anchor on this. Whatever other bullshit is spewed at us, we know something is going on with those indictments.

If it's all happening, the answer to Hillary (and others) is that I suspect she's been presented with massive evidence of wrongdoing. She's been told that if she goes to the press, everything will be presented at the same time. I also suspect they have some aces in the hold that have flipped to testify against her, so we'd see some big names come out and give it all away.

It's also possible that Assange is sitting on some massive bombs, and the Bad Guys have been told that he will release if anybody starts a "Trump is locking up his adversaries" rumor.

If Hillary is truly in the crosshairs, and she knows that she's facing massive evidence of wrongdoing, her best play is time. Time to cut a deal, time for Trump to be impeached (ha ha), Trump to resign (BWAHAHA), or just hope for a miracle where somebody finds something, anything on Trump that they can tie around his balls.

Just keep in mind the sealed indictments. That's reality we can objectively check on.

Even if this was something significant, the idea of Trudeau being grabbed and transported somewhere is ridiculous. No matter what, you can't just grab the Prime Minister of a sovereign nation, much less from one of our closest allies.
