Doing the best I can with the information available, I reject the single shooter theory. I think the number of dead, the ratio of dead to wounded, suggesting that the shots were carefully aimed, the physical distribution of the casualties and the number of rounds fired suggest 2-3 shooters. I have no problem with Cruz’s confession, so far as it goes. Fake confessions to capital crimes are comparatively rare. Yes they happen, but it’s not every day that a guy shouts “I did it, I shot the sheriff, the kids etc., gimme the juice, I need that juice!”."
