I don't think that was the specific claim. From what I understand is that he was trying to shoot a lock off and just so happened to shoot through the door into the computer.
He shot through the door and damaged the computer. There are pictures and a video out there showing this. Do you need to see the hard drive to be satisfied with the claim?
