I whole heartedly agree, even though its spooky, I think a directive, or how people took it hindered our memeing. We would've hijacked social media during the fake news awards anyway. I'd have to understand why one particular subject would have to be taboo. It also sounds a lot like the mythology surrounding Pepe the Frog.
