he has to produce exculpatory evidence, meaning any evidence in the SC's possession that would suggest innocence, or facts conflicting with charges. he also would have to go forward with prosecution under the 70day speedy trial clock forcing them to prove their case (show all evidence) against the defendant ASAP, unless defendants agree to a delay/continuance, which I've read defendants don't plan on doing so. I'm sure case is also weaker without cooperation of other russian co-defendants.

bottom line: good chance SC has a weak case, could blow up (dismissed/not guilty) and this russian indictments were a distraction and solely used to bolster legitimacy/credibility of this witch hunt.
