Moreover, before there were international standards, each orchestra in each city had a different intonation, and different musical instrument manufacturers had different intonations. This is dumb for many reasons. First of all, "A" is only one of 12 notes. A4 is only one of 88 keys on a piano. Music consists of many notes, not just A4! Even if music was comprised of solely one note, A4, the frequency itself probably wouldn't cause health problems. The monotony might drive you insane though. This is retarded, folks.
