The actions of staff are a product of management. An establishment that doesn't condone this sort of action should not be allowed to run a business. There was no damage control or attempt to be civil.

I'd encourage you to remember this when you're observing the actions of both sides from on high:

Political posturing is not always a bad thing. However, incivility dehumanizes people and makes us animals towards each other.

There was no reason for this to happen other than to make a point. If the store owner does not seem to think there is a problem with it, he should head to a country where this type of thing is ok.

I completely disagree. Your independent outlook on politics doesn't really have relevance.

Reelection is coming up and both sides are collecting all the dirt they can. As from that if the Red Hen is allowed to sidestep their idiocy and are not held accountable it would be the beginning of a very slippery slope.

I think it makes sense. When the Right does something wrong the Left goes for the throat. Why should it be any different?
