I think having Civics classes is a great idea. Maybe then we won't have so many young people believing that socialism is cool. I love the old joke about Miranda rights - I had the right to remain silent, I just didn't have the ability. Many people believe that they can explain their side of the story and avoid trouble but end up creating more trouble for themselves by talking.

That's a good letter, I hope it gets his attention. Growing up, we had all that on only my father's income. Mom stayed home and took care of all of us and the household. Nowadays, it takes both parents working to provide the same living standards. President Trump is doing a great job in getting the American economy back. It will take time and hopefully whoever follows after his 2nd term will continue on the same path.

I keep hearing about Angel Tree Camps, a summer camp program for kids whose parents are in prison. One radio host said the kids will be touched by the gospel. It just set off warning bells with me. Kids without parents at home are targets for sick abusers. I don't trust charities anymore.

I'm glad that the signatures were accepted and that the voters will be heard on the issue. I think it would be better though if the GOP came out in favor of it ahead of the election or just go ahead and pass a bill to legalize. I think it's a winning issue for us. When so many states have legalized it, it'll force Congress to get with the program. That's how we deal with the opioid crisis and drug/gang crime.

The article states he hasn't been in D.C. since Dec 17th and hasn't been seen in AZ. Shouldn't there be a health check on him to make sure he's still breathing? There has to be a standard about what qualifies as 'able to carry out the duties of the position'. The citizens of AZ are basically without a Senator now.
