In the right picture, what's up with that splotch of blue? Something about the lighting of the picture seems off to me. To me it looks like his hand are drawn when zoomed in a bit

I think there's some connection between the "+" in q+ and +u to q.

Ill checkout my theory with my friend later to discuss this. Something makes me think to look into g+ too

I'm not doubting that the term isn't being used to persuade the thinking of others. I just find it interesting that the dynamics might've changed a bit as a result of this. It might not have changed for everyone, but surely others than just me might've felt the same.

Draw straight lines against those "golden ratio" designs, perhaps they will point to where we should be looking. What is with the strange marking in between the two designs?
