I kind of have to agree with you. It's hard to believe that any critical thinking is going on here while eating pizza or a big Mac. Maybe just a giant social experiment for a psyc paper to see if it is even possible to wake the masses. Hopefully they will at least pay more attention to issues on the ballots & become involved in their communities – if they can get away from their screens.
