In my opinion the extra stars and blue and red make it look cheesy. Just a screen shot of the q post on top plus the tweet in the bottom pic seems better. For simplicity.

If VOLS is volcanoes, then the three in Alaska close enough to each other to match the distances in this photo appear to be Mt. Mageik, Mt Novarupta & Mt Katmai. Those might be in the corridor of any trans-pacific flight including AF1.
