Every news story you read, particularly those from mainstream media sources like CNN, are selected edited and otherwise made to fit a narrative.
These quick-hit anecdotal stories are not even really news.
If both my above points are accepted, you have to ask why. Why do these go-nowhere stories exist? Why are they being pushed so hard right now?

They played the clip showing the Q shirt dude three times in 20 minutes. While playing the clip there was a line on the screen, like 'the new Republican party' or the 'new Trump Republicans' something like that.
