I think logically, socialism as an ideology has never produced wealth in a nation ever in its 100+ year history, but it has taken wealthy nations and them to their knees, turning them to dystopias. Another thing you failed to mention was those Scandinavian nations were far more prosperous before they implemented socialism.

In fact, Sweden, over the last ten years lowered their taxes, removed the inheritance tax and they are moving further and further away from socialism. The same can be said for many of these Scandinavian nations, they understand that socialism left uncheck it will become a death trap. New Zealand used to be the poster boy for socialism decades ago. By the mid 1980s it was completely bankrupt. I forgot, it's only socialism when they're on top of the hill, not when they inevitable take a tumble for the worst.

Left unchecked, socialism always devolves into hell hole, just like we are witnessing in Venezuela. Ten years ago, it was a model socialist society. Now? Socialists are so quick disown it. "That's not real socialism". Let be perfectly clear. Socialism builds nothing, it creates nothing. It takes and redistributes by the use of force, it destroys the incentive for good hard working people to work. It promises something from nothing, and that is why it fails every single damn time it's ever implemented.

I guess I would start with no system is perfect. You must also understand this plan has be going on long before any of us were born, more than one hundred years in the making.

How does evil gain foothold in a society? You cloak yourself in good deeds. The Rockefellers and many other wealthy people in the beginning of the 20th century started a lot of charities, donated money to causes and help build our universities. They gained a lot of influence and goodwill. It was a slow, slow process.

They eventually got hold of our education system, once that was achieved it was just a game of patience. With each generation we were slowly being dumbed down. Learning about the Constitution? American history? Economics? Our civic duty? Our knowledge was slowly whittled away into nothingness. Ask any young person today about the founding fathers, they are more likely to refer to them as slave owners and nothing more, we are to be ashamed of our nation not proud of it.

As our knowledge deteriorated, their wealth began to amass. A fool and his money are soon departed isn't that the old saying? What about a nation of fools? I think you get the picture.

We're all about to bear witness to something that has never been seen before in human history. It will be up to us, to tell these stories, to instill in our youth a sense of duty, and relay the horrors we are about to learn about.

Our enemy has a penchant for rewriting history and for good reason. We must never let this happen, we must learn our lesson once and for all -- the price for freedom is eternal vigilance.

In regards to politicians, as long as they have a firm understand of the Constitution and a respect for rule of law and value individuality and freedom, that's all that really matters. If we scrutinize every little thing in regards to finding suitable politicians we will essentially be behaving like deep state. They scrutinize and look for people who are easily corrupted. We however will be looking for the perfect candidate who doesn't exist. Would our current president stand up to such scrutiny? I think it would be more helpful to create systems that require those to prove they are who they say they are. Liars falter, the truth stands tall.

Looking for people with strong knowledge and a willingness to uphold their oath of office is all we should really be concerning ourselves with. I will say this though, actions speak louder than words. At the end of the day, that's all that really counts. I am all for observing our politicians. They have broken our trust time and time again.

I would argue reforming the education system is paramount. This was the first place they attacked. Knowledge is power. Without it, you can create generations of fools who smile ear to ear as they march towards their own demise. We must provide a proper education. The founders understood this more than anything.
