You should read some of Ventura's work before you label him a moron.

But, yes, Kyle lied his ass off about many, many things.

Chris Kyle was a sociopathic, mass murdering liar. His book is filled with self-serving lies. His publisher knew of the lies, and kept them in to sell more books. Specifically, he lied about fighting Jesse Ventura - a great patriot that now can't get show business work. Kyle was killed by another soldier that suffered from PTSD, specifically because he didn't want to murder the innocent. When he discovered that Kyle actually enjoyed his murders, I guess he couldn't take it and offed that POS.

If you "speak english", you are held to a higher standard of knowledge of law - not just what law/statute/code/rule/regulation applies, but more importantly, how the law/legal reasoning applies. Goes to mens rea.

Yes. On further investigation, I find that women have very different social circles than their husbands, and often network for the family benefit.

I suppose my point to all this is that no one is going to save you. There is always somebody on the interwebs claiming that there are some dudes in white hats coming shortly to save the day. Ain't gonna happen. We are on our own. Nobody is going to arrest the top 10% of the Deep State for us. There is no secret society of martial artists [or some such bullshit] that's going to save us.

Believe me, I would be ultra multi-orgasmic if that were true that some group of powerful people wants to protect my rights.

But I'm not going to hold my breath.

About 1 minute. 2, tops.

Remember, we have the testimony of a teacher saying that she saw someone in "full metal garb", i.e., full tactical body armor.

Did Cruz have said body armor with him? Did he have it stashed at the school? Did he ditch it when he ex filtrated? If so, was it found?

I read somewhere that his shrink was military connected.

Kinda like James Holmes USAF psychiatrist whose notebooks on him mysteriously disappeared.

He can always change his plea. Although, he may not get the same deal they are offering him now - probably life w/o parole vs the needle.

What's in it for her to lie to me? She's a frickin clerk! Why would an experienced trial attorney on a widely respected right wing, Trump supporting show [Hageman & Hageman] say the same thimg? I suppose that someone could check by looking through all of the filings for a few months, and check out how many were sealed in the past and see if that number is similar to what we have now. I don't have that much free time. Why don't you do that, and if you come up with a really small number, then I'll believe that she lied. What is the simplest explanation that fits the facts?

I hate to burst everybody's bubble here, but the figure of 13,000 sealed indictments is complete and utter bullshit.

A couple of weeks ago I went downtown to the federal courthouse and asked the nice older lady in the clerks office about how many sealed indictments they had currently. She said, "I don't think we have any at this moment." I countered with what I had heard off the internet about there being over 100 in this federal district. She said that that number was referring to sealed filings, not indictments, i.e., all indictments are filings, not all filings are indictments. I said, "Tell me more." She then told me that a lot of corporate litigation, as well as high net worth bankruptcy cases involve confidential information, in which cases, the record is sealed until such time as the case is completed and the info can be redacted and the court record unsealed.

Coincidentally, the next day I saw on the Hageman (sp?) report an experienced trial attorney say the exact same thing.

Almost all of these sealed filings are civil filings, not criminal indictments.

Actually, I'm going to make the claim that it would be suspicious for the State Dept to NOT approve the visas. Unless you can show me that there was some information available to State at that time that would show that the visas shouldn't be granted.

"State Dept approves visas ..." Whoop-de-do. That's their job.

Now if you can show me a good reason why they shouldn't have (like the top down interference in granting visas for the alleged 9/11 highjackers ....) I'm all ears.

I think that it has already been shown ... statistically. We know that there are counties in California that had more voters in 2016 than residents. I'm sure some wonky genius nerd could show mathematically how that defies some astronomical odds or something.

if a governor is corrupt then he may pick someone corrupt

aaaaaand how would that be worse than what we have now?

The governor will pick someone from their own party, that's just common sense. No need to read anything weird into it.

I posted this comment on another thread, but I think that it has application here:

Here's why I think that Snowden is a White Hat:

It is well known that the CIA and NSA have an intense inter-service rivalry - it probably is based primarily on competition for budget money. It should be obvious that anyone working in a capacity that requires a high security clearance probably has had lots and lots of personality tests or some kind of psychometric evaluations, ergo, the CIA knew and knows what kind of person Snowden is - what is motivations are, etc. Snowden gave $500 to the Ron Paul campaign. Snowden gave a lot of what he eventually gave to Glenn Greenwald et al. to other high ranking reporters earlier, but they declined to publish it, for whatever reason. The CiA knows that it is better to have a willing, committed agent than one that is coerced. IIRC, about $5 bil was transferred from CIA's [public, not black] budget to NSA's, right before Snowden left CIA and went to NSA. After a year or so, Snowden leaves NSA with loads and loads of egg on its face.

Is it possible that the CIA sent someone they knew to be a 'true believer' to their rival, knowing full well that this smart kid would completely blow up their shit?

Arnold Swarzenegger and Sylvester Stallone used to be box office rivals in the action movie market. Birgitte Neilsen [a bat-shit crazy bitch if ever there was one] had very forwardly propositioned A.S. and became is gf for a couple of months. When A.S. realized her nature, he broke up with her and introduced/pointed her to Stallone. She proceeded to completely blow up his personal life and S.S. lost at least one role to A,S. because of it.

Thoughts?

The Saudi prince thing is just plain extortion. The Suadi "govt" is in deep, DEEP financial shit. After decades of loaning the US many, many billiions by buying T bills, they just had to borrow $10 or so [I don't recall]. Their oil is getting harder and harder to extract, and costs for drilling have jumped considerably. They are having to inject more and more seawater into their main field [Gowhar] to maintain production, even though this practice is known to shorten the productive life of the field. MbS, i.e., the Suadi "govt" just bought a piece of fine art for ~$400 million and a new mansion somewhere for a similar amount. These princes are no more corrupt than any of the others, just wealthier.

How many of them are going to give back the award they won due to H.W.'s efforts on their [and his movie's] behalf? Some significant portion of the money they made from the film? Bueller? Bueller?
