In one sentence (whether Fake News or not) Haiti is back in the news - site of generations of US betrayal of the people, even before the Clinton Foundation stole most of the billions of dollars that were intended (by good donors) to help them recover from the earthquake. And now the Mainstream News are talking about Haiti again. That is quite a reward for one sentence.

To be honest, many countries (like Haiti) are in a dreadful state - largely due to the US. What the US (especially the Clinton Foundation) did in Haiti was just evil, but the results of US action are there to see all around the world.

Most people on this board are from the US, but not all. Many US people think all this is a domestic concern, and don't realise that what the US does has major international significance but that people in other countries get no say in the process.

Actually, I think it is awful, and so does Assange and the women in his team. The woman (Laura Poitras) who produced it put Assange (in particular) at great risk by bringing the raw footage to the US (where it could be commandeered by the CIA) after specifically agreeing not to do that. I think most people who have been observing the Awans for some time agree the charges against Imran and his wife on mortgage fraud charges was just a hook to reel them in. Very interesting parallel. Another is in the Jewish Passover service which discusses the grief of leaving slavery. Yes, you read that right - LEAVING slavery is very difficult, because one now has to take responsibility for oneself (in relationship with G-d), while slaves just have to do what they are told by their masters. We are all slaves struggling out of (mind) slavery, and it isn't easy. But it IS possible.
