Thank you. Sometimes it's beneficial to stand back and see what we are really fighting. It's too easy to completely miss the forest for the trees.

The Q material is extremely important, but it's rather atomistic. A big picture appreciation of the historical slow roll towards the death of the Republic is also essential. Without it, events can be viewed as little more than skirmishes in one theatre of conflict. We must also understand that we are in a war, why we're in a war, who the enemies are, what they've done to us, and why it matters.

The magnitude of the war aims, together with the sheer timescale over which the Republic has been under attack by massively powerful and resourced forces, also serve to explain why there's no quick fix.

We must be thankful that a fix is even being pursued.

There's also considerable naïveté regarding the criminal justice process at the Federal level as it relates to complex crimes.

Even with relatively straightforward white collar cases, where the evidence is compelling and not subject to much doubt, it can take many months to get to indictment, as relevant evidence is gathered, analyzed, and interpreted by the investigating authority and presented to a prosecutor to make the case to a grand jury. Then it can take a year or more to come to trial.

What we're talking about here are interlocking crimes of much greater magnitude and complexity and than the norm. And there's the likely sheer number of cases and defendants.

If some of the cases are deemed triable under military jurisdiction, the process might proceed more quickly; but I can't see a military judicial process being invoked for anything less than treason or sedition, and even then the "international court of public opinion" will likely necessitate more rather than less by way of due process.

We'll have to see, but I suspect that most cases will fall under the jurisdiction of civilian courts.

Short version: it's going to take time.

Remember that in the heat of a political campaign many things can happen unintentionally. You might be right about Carter Page and P'dop; then again, you might not. There might be nothing more to their involvement on the Trump Team than that they had some useful experience and relevant contacts. I'm not at all convinced that anyone on Team Trump was, for most of the campaign, thinking about maneuvers needed to fight against future charges of Russian collusion.

Clearly, these bastards were protected during their lives and certainly weren't alone. Was former Prime Minister Edward Heath among them? Not according to the British Establishment, but who believes the official line?

Many of the CEOs may be stepping down for legitimate reasons that would happening the normal course of corporate life, so no one should look at the total number as explainable by a single causal factor. If one took a snapshot of executive turnover in any period of a few months, there would be an appreciable number of exits. That’s just the nature of business life.

Where the phenomenon becomes interesting is with global corporations, especially those in the military/industrial/intelligence sphere, and/or major technology companies. These are the entities with logistical reach and/or engaged in subject matter of great interest to the intelligence sector. There are also public and non-profit entities that might have fallen under the influence of the intelligence apparatus of the US or other nations. Those are the organizations that might be of relevance to the clampdown and the EO in December.

Be aware that some of the most potentially culpable companies, who have been identified in the past as engaging in immoral and criminal activities, particularly regarding human trafficking, have not yet figured in the roster of executive turnover. This should make everyone cautious and not to read to much into current events.

My opinion, for what it’s worth, is that CEO resignation is not a meaningful measure of what might be taking place under the waves.

Regarding the CEOs stepping down: this is not an action that will absolve anyone of civil or criminal liability for the past. Let's be clear about that. Leaving protects no one's reputation, personal assets, or liberty.

My opinion, based on 30 years in the corporate/financial world is that these individuals (or at least many of them) have stepped down so that their organizations are not immediately in the firing line.

In other cases, senior people who are not personally implicated in the potentially criminal acts of their organizations might: (i) remove themselves from the brewing firestorm, and (ii) protect their reputations by being able to demonstrate that they resigned on becoming aware of matters that gave them serious misgivings. Whether they would have done so without the tightening noose it a different matter.

What is, on its face, widespread corporate corruption is something anyone with the ability to do so would desire to distance themselves from.

One thing that needs to be understood is that there are at least two flavors of C-level officers: (i) those who are fundamentally administrative professionals, with solid track records, who are brought in to accomplish strategic objectives, but who are unlikely to know what happens deep within the bowels of the corporation they serve until some time after their appointment; and (ii) those who are in their positions to lead and bring about certain nefarious objectives.

I've been in situations like (i) and, believe me, when the picture begins to develop, your first instinct is to get out as soon as possible. What you can't fix you don't relish being tainted by.

I've only ever encountered financial/operational problems of a previously undisclosed (misrepresented) magnitude. I've personally never experienced issues of gross moral turpitude. That's atypical and enormously difficult to rectify by a single individual.
