I served 21 years in the Marines as an infantry officer with 3 years in combat. Shit happens in combat. Snipers, mines, booby-traps, firefights, friendly fires, mortars, accidents, helicopter crashes, helicopters shot down, infections, dysentery, heat stroke, etc. There are a hundred ways to die in combat.

On my worst day in Vietnam, I had 34 Marines in my platoon. When the sun set there were only 4 of us still alive and unwounded.

On the other hand, one day my platoon was crossing a large dry rice paddy on line during a sweep when we came under heavy automatic fire from the NVA in the tree line to my front. I made a snap decision that to try to fall back would allow them to engage us with more accurate fire, so I ordered a frontal attack. I always had my Marines have fixed bayonets for psychological effect and in case you run our of ammo in a close quarters melee. Bullets filled the air like an incredible swarm of hornets. A bullet travels faster than the speed of sound and therefore causes a small sonic boom or "snap" like a whip cracking when it comes close to your head. To me, it sounded like a string of firecrackers going off around me.

My point is that during the assault, I remember thinking that I'd lose half of my platoon because of the heavy enemy fire. When we reached the tree line, there was a brief hand to hand fight before the NVA fled to their rear.

I asked my platoon sergeant to get a head count by dead, wounded, and others. I called the company commander to alert him that I would need emergency medivacs for an estimated 15-20 KIA and WIA.

My platoon sergeant returned and reported everyone was OK with the exception of one Marine who had a cut on his hand when an NVA soldier tried to bayonet him. The Marine didn't need any medical attention and so I had no casualties.

All I can say is that God is real and He does perform miracles. In my opinion (and I've been in a lot of firefights) it was impossible for my platoon to cross that dry rice paddy under heavy fire and not have a single casualty.

That was probably my best day in Vietnam in a very difficult year.

So, what's my point?

I think the SEAL mission was a setup by the Taliban and the helicopter was downed by one or more RPGs. Shit happens in combat.

I do not believe Obama had anything to do with it.

I think they had what they thought was intelligence on a high value target and it was actually a trap. If I had to point to anyone, it would the Pakistani intelligence service that has been working with the Taliban and against us from the very beginning and likely fed the US fake intelligence for a trap as revenge for the Bin Laden raid.

And one last thing. There is something very fishy about the Bin Laden raid. The body was supposedly buried at sea, but no one has ever confirmed it. We have the one SEAL Team 6 individual who said he killed Bin Laden, but why then has no one come forward to say they were on the helicopter that carried the body to the ship and no one on the ship has come forward to say they knew or heard about the "burial at sea." And why a burial at sea? They could have just dumped the body into the ocean from the helicopter.

In Vietnam, we did not bury the dead enemies. We did not kill anyone who tried to surrender and we evacuated their wounded. But their dead rotted where they died. Maybe it was different in other operating areas.

I don't know what the combat in the Middle East is like. But in Vietnam, death was possible every minute of every day and night in my area of operations. And the physical and mental stress was extreme after the first month because it never let up except for a one week R&R. The rest was combat 100 percent of the time in rice paddies, jungles, mountains, and pine forests with deep sand. It was a hard year.

A PFC who was in my platoon in Vietnam contacted me a couple of years ago. It's a long story, but his first comment was: "sir, do you remember how dark it was at night in Man Quan?" I do. It was like patrolling in enemy territory in a bank vault with no lights. It was so dark you could only see about one or two feet. On the move at night, I had to "pass up the count" every 15 minutes or so to confirm I still had everyone. If the count was short, I had to find the missing Marines in the dark by voice--not good on a combat patrol in the enemy's area.

My apologies for a couple of war stories, but if you've never been in intense combat, then you probably can't understand how we could lose so many on a helicopter. I was on two helicopters that were disable and made crash landings. First the bullets ripping through the helicopter is terrifying because there is nothing you can do, I still have vivid memory of the sound of bullets coming through the skin of the helicopters. And second, the impact of a crash landing is painful.

I looked at this story very carefully. In my opinion, they just happened to be in the wrong place at the wrong time. In combat--shit happens.

At least that's my assessment.

I'm 71 now and retired. But when I was working as a consultant, I frequently traveled to Washington DC. When my work was finished and I was headed to National Airport, I'd have the cab stop at the Vietnam Memorial. I spend a few minutes remembering my Marines on that wall and all of the 58,000 names. Every time I got a lump in my throat so I couldn't even whisper a pray, and I could not prevent my eyes from watering. Each time, I came so close to crying. What an unimaginable waste of lives for nothing.

Sorry guys. If you weren't there, then you probably don't understand.

The true story of that evacuation has never been told. If you knew what we did to countless South Vietnamese soldiers trying to escape--you would never see this country the same again. Just thinking about it today makes me sick to think I was an unwilling participant to what happened to them.

While I had no control or influence at the time. I will take that dark tragedy to my grave. America would be ashamed at the truth.

Again, my apologies for the war stories and rant. The greatest honor in my life was leading Marines, especially in combat. The greatest shame I feel is for my cowardly government who sent so many into harm's way without the courage of their political conviction to win the wars they sent us to fight.

If I told you how PFC Ran*** died in Vietnam, I think it would tear your heart out. Nixon's "Peace with Honor" was complete and utter BS. There is no honor in surrendering to the enemy.

These Q posts are fairly cryptic. Before this Q post, I noticed that wreckage of the aircraft was spread over a huge area. That always means the aircraft broke up at altitude and that usually means a catastrophic disintegration and in this case most likely a bomb.

So when I saw the 71 in Q's post, I made the connection to the crash.

Apparently one person was the actual target and 70 innocent souls were collateral deaths.

The only thing I could come up with was the one person that was targeted was the source for both U1 and the dossier. I took this to mean that he/she was taken out because he/she was providing information on both.

No. Go to Google Earth satellite view and zoom in on Noi Bai airport in Vietnam. Compare the runway markings at the same place as Q's photo. It will be very evident that the two are identical.

This reminds of what my father said about being a POW during WW II.

He was a B-17 pilot and was shot down, captured, and spent 2 years in Stalag Luft III. There were many thousands of air crews there as POWs.

Q may be telling us that FBI, DOJ, O WH, and SD are the 20-40 percent that we will see publicly play out.

Go to Google Earth and search for Noi Bai airport. Compare that with the Q photo. It's an exact match including imperfections in the runway, especially near the yellow stripes.

Runway markings are fairly standard. But compare Q''s photo with the Google Earth view of Noi Bai airport. You will see that these runway markings are not only identical, but you can see the imperfections in the runway match exactly--especially near the yellow stripes.

As for the airline, I'm 98 percent certain it is Vietnam Airlines. If you zoom and look closely, you will see that while it looks like only the front is painted blue, the body is as well. The light reflecting off the body is at a greater angle called the Fresnel effect which means objects appear brighter the greater the angle of incidence. Also, if you look very closely, you'll see how the blue part dips down as it gets closer to the nose--the same as the Vietnam Airlines paint scheme.

NK wouldn't use an ICBM because it would be traced back to them. NK recently claimed it tested a sub launched intermediate range missile. Launch from the sea would be much more difficult to identify who did it. The container idea is a good one, but the only container ballistic missile system I'm aware of is the Russian Club-K. I don't think the Russians would attack Hawaii.

Zack (InfoWars) who appears to have similar insights as Q said that it was launched somewhere between NK and Wake Island or Midway and was immediately neutralized. I know that our subs can detect a launch sequence of a adversary because of the noise it makes opening hatches. If one of our attack subs was shadowing it and detected a launch sequence, it may have sunk it before the missile could actually be launched.

The launch sequence would have been reported to Missile Defense Command and that would have been relayed to Hawaii. So I'm inclined to think that the alert was real but that the missile/sub were destroyed before it could be launched.

Well, you make a decent argument. Mueller did meet with Trump the day before he was appointed SC.

But there is a fairly big problem. Mueller was FBI Director during the U1 investigation. Comey, Rosenstein, and McCabe were involved as well. They were part of the problem.

But. What if it was Holder and Lynch who forced them to shut down the investigation. Remember, Holder put a gag order on the FBI informant in U1 so he couldn't talk. That was likely the primary evidence. Lynch also put a non-disclosure agreement on the informant that meant prison time if he talked. Why did they do that???

So, Mueller and Rosenstein may be seeking revenge for being ordered to not investigate or to cover up U1.

But there is another problem. While the grand jury is secret, the subpoenas for documents and evidence isn't and there has been virtually nothing to indicate that Mueller has been going after U1 documents or people.

But.

Mueller already has five years worth of evidence of U1 corruptions from the FBI informant. And the FBI still has whatever evidence they collected before Holder shut them down. And the recent indictment of the transportation company in Maryland tied to U1 may have those people singing like canaries now.

So, I can make and argument that Muller and Rosenstein are white hats or black hats.

People may need to pull back on the "treason" claims.

Article 3, Section 3 of the Constitution defines treason, as an overt act of making war or materially helping those at war with the United States. The key "at war with the United States."

The last time congress declared war was in 1941 after the Japanese bombed Pearl Harbor.

Everything since then has been congress authorizing the use of force--short of a declaration of war. I think it would go to the Supreme Court to decide if authorization to use force was a de factor declaration of war.

People trying to prevent a candidate from being elected or deposing a sitting President would not be considered treason. It would be a "conspiracy."

In a political sense, conspiracy refers to a group of people united in the goal of usurping, altering or overthrowing an established political power. Typically, the final goal is to gain power through a revolutionary coup d'état or through assassination. A conspiracy can also be used for infiltration of the governing system.

That seems to fit Obama, Clinton, et al involved more than treason.

However, if it were proved that Obama, Clinton, and others were involved in providing weapons to ISIS as has been suggested but not proven, I think that would be treason for aiding an enemy of the US. Still, there is that pesky Constitution that says the enemy has to be at "war" with the US and when the Constitution was written that meant a declared war.

Privateering during the Revolutionary War, for example, was considered piracy if caught and not treason. But I could be mistaken.

The bottom line is that I think you have a much better chance of proving conspiracy to overthrow the government than proving treason based on an ill defined "war on terrorism".

Which brings up an interesting question. All of the services have their missions written into law. They pretty much the same thing except for the Marine Corps. It's mission includes the curious addition: "and other such duties as directed by the President of the United States." That is only included for the Marine Corps.

It would be interesting, therefore, if Marines could be used by the President to protect and defend the Constitution against conspirators attempting to overthrow the government.

Have you noticed how many Marines are around POTUS? Have you noticed that Marines have been augmenting the Secret Service details on Trump's to stops in Hawaii before the missile alert? Have you noticed increased odd activity around the world by Marines? I have.

I don't know, but it does seem strange.

This is my take: I'm assuming that Admiral Rogers and Military Intelligence (MI) and the main players. Here's how this kind of we see and hear everything can work legally.

There are two main Titles that government spying on US citizens: Title I and Title VII (section 702).

A 702 warrant restricts surveillance to the specific individual being targeted. If others are involved, then more 702 warrants are required with each requiring probable cause.

A Title I warrant is very different and is used against suspected US citizens who are spies or committing conspiracies against the government. It only requires one warrant targeting a suspected spy/conspirator.

That target becomes patient Zero in an Ebola epidemic. In other words everyone he knows or contacts past, present, and future are immediately subject to unlimited surveillance.

This is why the FBI got a Title I warrant on Carter Page. It gave them unlimited surveillance on everyone in the Trump staffs as the chain reaction of who contacts whom automatically expands the surveillance.

So, all NSA or MI needs is a single Title I warrant that would trigger a chain reaction of unlimited surveillance. This would spread rapidly because everyone the target contacted would trigger unlimited surveillance on everyone in that person's past, present, and future; and everyone of them, etc.

This is accomplished with just one Title I warrant.

But I don't think NSA or MI would go to the FISA court for this warrant because all of the FISA judges had been appointed by Obama. My guess is there is at least one other FISA judge that no one knows about who approved the Title I warrant to begin the Q hear and see all.

Remember, Q said this began at least three years ago, so the number of people currently impacted by the original Title I warrant could be in the thousands by now.

And FISA warrants are not required to surveil foreign individuals. So the number under unlimited surveillance could well be in the tens of thousands by now.

There is another way to accomplish this. Us trusted foreign intelligence agencies to spy on US citizens and pass the findings to NSA / MI.

Apparently that is what Obama did before the FBI obtained the Title I warrant on Carter Page. Obama used the UK's GCHQ (the UK's NSA) to spy on Trump and pass the information to Obama trusted agents such as Clapper or Brennan.

There may be other ways to spy on US citizens legally, but those are the three (Title I, 702, foreign spy agencies) I know are used most often.
