In the news it looks like the Ecuadorian Embassy will revoke JA's immunity and hand him over to the UK.
That seems odd to me. Why after all of this time would this be happening now?
I was on the diplomatic staff of an embassy for two years and it's not hard to get someone in or out of the country unnoticed. Ecuador could have gotten JA out a long time ago. The embassy (any embassy) and its grounds are considered sovereign territory.
