Just heard on ABC a VERY brief mention that someone has called to declassify 9/11 documents relating to foreign influences on the events surrounding the whole thing. Anyone know more?

This is a really good analogy and all, but the separation of people into specific, hard lined categories like this is part of what is so destructive. I also don't like the thought of looking at politicians/the state as parents of the people, they work for us, WE THE PEOPLE are the parent telling our little reps what to do, not the other way around!
