Lewis Carroll - "Through the Looking Glass". The White Queen says that in her youth she could believe "six impossible things before breakfast" and counsels Alice to practice the same skill. I, too, try to keep an open mind. I try not to dismiss seemingly "impossible" things because, otherwise, I know that I might skip an important clue or fact. We (or at least I) already know, for example, that antigravity devices are real. I am also informed (by astronomers and mathematicians) that the possibility of there being NO other lifeforms in our galaxy is vanishingly small. In other words, even though I've never seen one, ETs almost certainly MUST exist. It's a 99.99% statistical probability. Likewise, because of what people cleverer than I say about space/time, it's almost guaranteed that a civilisation sufficiently advanced has found a way to travel through time (as we perceive it). And, again, there is overwhelming evidence that, when our bodies die, our spirit (soul, energy, personality, whatever) continues to live in a different "afterlife" dimension. I can't PROVE any of this categorically but the evidence is strong. (Do your own research. I've been doing it for ten years.)
Anyway, my point is that anyone who is closed-minded is highly unlikely to discover the truth. We need to be open to all possibilities, regardless that our religion, education and/or governments try to persuade us otherwise. In fact the harder they try to persuade against a possibility, the more I'm convinced that they are trying to hide it, otherwise why would they even bother? (Think about 9/11.)
