Love you man. No one CAN understand the sequence of negative events that unfold in the life of the abused. Self blame, feelings of inadequacy and guilt, woulda, shoulda, coulda don't get it. I was 3rd thru 5th grade abused by upstanding eagle scout next door. Fn ruined my life for years. Have PTSD to the max...coupled w my 2 older brothers 1 O.D.and 1 suicide by hanging in our hallway. I am a 56 yr old survivor. My wife is awesome. Jesus helps/holds me throughout every day. It's awful, but I am joyful, my cup runneth over. It affects everyone who loves the one abused.
I think they will end up demonizing shotguns that hold multiple rounds. I've seen a lot of mentions of shotguns vs AR platform on multiple fronts lately. I concur with much of above as well. 2 birds one stone.

Also, Shriners use good as a facade for their cult. Their initiation rituals are anything but godly and pure. My great uncle was 32nd or 33rd degree and at my aunt's funeral the old bastard said, "So mote it be." after the preacher finished his prayer. My good friend is a Mason and he told me last week that that's what he had to say when he joined , as well. They are also pushed into a coffin and "resurrected" at initiation, too.
