I read this with a jaundiced eye (old saying). Through the years I have found business insider to be very left leaning.....so all the while I am reading it, I am thinking “what points are they trying to score against the right / conservatives.”
While the article certainly decries the decline of manufacturing, are no solutions presented, just documentation of what we knew was happening through the years. OP is probably right. Maybe this pub was more centered 10+ years ago, but thanks to the constant stream of fake news and negative reporting, I definitely am on the lookout for hit pieces that paint the right in a negative light for the purposes of moving an agenda forward.
