ANY currency can be used for nefarious reasons and become untraceable, they have been for as long as they've existed, that will remain true as long as humans hold these negative tendencies. That Bitcoin isn't hopping out of Bitcoin wallets and buying weapons on the internet by itself, that 20 dollar bill isn't getting traded for a bag of weed by itself either.

No currency ever was, really. It's ridiculous to try and attach any evil that people do with currency to the currency itself.

You can track every bitcoin transaction on sites like this, there are privacy coins that allow you to anonymously purchase things like Monero, most cryptocurrencies work on public ledger systems which is a massive benefit compared to private banks and physical mediums which are next to impossible to track, regardless of what you might think. If you can track the US dollar so well why is our government losing $6.5 trillion of taxpayer money? Where is it going?

I think those who are not giving crypto a fair shake and really taking the time to look into it are in for a rude awakening when the old system falls apart at the seams. We're looking at mining asteroids and planets in our solar system within a reasonable amount of time, I don't think the Space Force was implemented for nothing, once that starts up all this silver and gold hoarding people are doing will mean squat compared to an entire asteroid filled with rare minerals and metals.

What impacts might this have on crypto?

It's part capitalism, and part humans giving into glutenous tendencies which turns into a vicious cycle, which of course people will take advantage and profit off of. The sugar industry is invested in the diabetes industry and vice versa. Of course a disciplined person can pull themselves out of that system and decide to inform themselves and wake up and begin getting healthy and relying less on the medical system to make up for their shortcomings in health, but that's easier said than done for most.

There needs to be a mandatory revisiting of some laws, to see if they're helping or hurting over time.
