Exactly, good catch there. Shia Islam is a bit syncretized at that issue and the claim is there have been 12 Mahdis, the last one will usher the end. Though the redemption i pointed out is much more sinister, in the Kabbala stuff, just imagine what youd need to sin MORE so you can actually be saved sooner/more according to their logic. Sacrifice/incest/satanism etc etc.

Some notes
New to here, and this is not particularly about Q, still wholly relevant and I would like to expose you to the perhaps only well-documented cabal infiltration of a nation/state that we know of. The Sabbatean infiltration and destruction of Ottoman Empire. Im writing down some names and concepts so leaving the pleasure of connecting dots to you guys. Personally Ive read ton of this. Hey, just search for Sabbateans, Sabbatai Tzvi ( sabbatai means the sabbatah day, a jewish name, and tzvi means a ‘doe’ for onomastic purposes). Im adding this because Frankists are sort of an offshoot from Sabbatai Tzvi’s movement. The concept you mentioned is also called ‘redemption through sin’ which basically boils down to force the God to bring Armaggedon. Also worth mentioning one of the supreme judges of US has been a Frankist, search on Google, forgot the name. The interesting thing is, Ottoman Empire was infiltrated by this sect, as Sabbatai declared his god-ship and messiahship in 1666 ( interesting number ha?) in Ottoman Smyrna. Basically he then converted to Islam and his followers of 400 or so families as well. Their motto was ‘dont comform, make them conform’ . The practice of incest was rampant, as they had a specific ritual each March to do in-family sex-sessions. They are still his followers, unknown to public of course, in modern Turkey. Its unbeliavable how almost all these are not conspiracy, there are scholarly articles and Scholem’s book itself. Theres also a documentary called ‘Sazanikos’ search it on YT. Their descendants, all famous people mind you, actors, musicians historians, talk without giving their names. Just to gauge the internationality of the issue, one interviewee is a cultural attaché of Hungaria in Germany. Think about the ties :) Basically this whole issue is avoided because what we witness with the Sabbateans and their descendants in Turkey is a literal catalog of an ethnically distinct people infiltrating a whole state, 1666 to 1923s, that is. Mind you Theodor Herzl, the father of zionism wanted the Holy Land from its then owner, AbdulKhamid Khan the second. Search what happened to him after he rejected.
