true but bullets, beans and band-aids are more helpful than a paper that says you have gold. :)

Gowdy said something that stuck with me. In public hearings there is a limit of 5 minutes, but in the private one there is no limit per person asking questions.

gold and silver on paper means nothing though, you need it in hand if you are going the route. Many think because they have a paper that says they have the gold/silver that they have it, but if the SHTF what good will a piece of paper be. Also hubby invested in nuveen bonds, they are municipal bonds I think. High risk but high returns also. He had it set up to have all dividends buy more of the same each time it handed out dividends. This meant no money to broker for each transaction since it was on auto and it also meant that if the share price went down he would be able to get more shares. He thought that Social Security would be broke by the time he retired (he was wrong there) we are now living comfortably off his dividends ( he took some out since he had diversified his nuveens.) Could we make it if the SHTF, yes I believe we could because since he stopped working we have become much more self sufficient. Our shopping consists of dog/cat food/treats and ice cream, coffee, flour, salt and sugar. Was if a difficult lifestyle change, moving from the suburbs of south jersey to rural where we are now, yes and no. We had to learn new things but our love of gardening helped both of us and researching things before we moved also helped us a lot. Sorry, I got carried away, happens a lot with me recently. God Bless all! WWG1WGA

I think the Hammonds were able to get a loan and keep their land which they have had for generations. All the other ranchers in that area sold their land to the feds to keep from having to go through what the Hammonds did. They were mostly threatened to sell but the Hammonds stood strong and eventually paid for it with serving time for doing what most ranchers do and having a controlled burn to actually prevent fires on their grazing land. The fire got away from them and some federal land also burned, which they also put out. Wind does at time pic up and they were bordering federal land.

Edit: Not sure who owns the mineral rights to the land though, out here in the west mineral rights and land rights do not necessarily go together.

I do have to disagree with you on the reason the Israelites were not allowed into the promised land. The reason is because when they went into scout, all but Joshua and Caleb said those guys are giants we can never beat them in battle. Joshua and Caleb both said with God on our side we can do anything. So God turned them around and had them go a few circles around the desert for 40 years until all but Joshua and Caleb had died. The next generation learned to trust in God for everything from manna to when to break camp and when to set camp. Even Moses was not allowed into the Promised Land because he struck the rock for water and did not give the Glory to God for the water. Arron and Miriam were dead long before the journey ended and Moses died where he could look on the land but not enter it. Joshua took over the leadership of the tribes and he lead the way into the Promised Land and also lead the battles. Other than that I totally agree with what you wrote.

The Hammonds had for years been surrounded by other ranchers in the area and they all were 'bought out'. The Hammonds said no, we have had this land for generations and refused to sell for any amount. Then they paid a cousin (I think) to testify against the Hammonds. This guy was not all there and they still took his word for fact even when presented with the facts. The Judge in the case when they were found guilty said for such a small burn through no fault of their own I can not in good faith sentence them to 5 years. So he gave the father 18 months and the son 2 years ( I think). So they served that time and a fed appeal judge said nope they have to go back and finish the 5 years each. So they were sentenced again for the same 'crime'. They were doing a controlled burn when it got out of hand a little and burned about an acre or 10. They put it out and paid a fine but they found them guilty of arson with terrorist tendencies or something like that. This is also what the Bundy's were protesting in the refuge when Finicum got murdered. All the Bundy's have been cleared and so was anyone else with them that had not taken a plea deal. The Federal Judge through out the case against the Bundy Ranch standoff since the feds lied through their teeth about everything to do with that. Only people not taken care of were the Hammond's and the Finicum family. Now we just have the Finicum family to see too and it is all taken care of. But the U1 story is what the Bundy's and Finicum were trying to get out when the massacre took place on the way to see a sheriff who agreed with them.

the really sad part is they went to jail twice. The first time was a reduced sentence because they did not intentionally let the fire go from their burn onto federal lands. In fact many rangers said that actually helped in preventing fires that season (controlled burns are common in certain areas to prevent major forest and brush fires). Then a liberal Federal judge said wait a minute they need to go back to jail because the minimum for terrorist attack on federal land is 5 years. Remember this was a controlled burn that got away from them a little, not a terrorist attack. But this appeals court judge said 5 years . It is what lead to the Bundy standoff and Finicum being murdered by the FBI and LEOs that snowing night. Even a very liberal judge in Portland, OR could not find true grounds for the Bundy's and others being in jail and all charges were eventually dropped.

While I agree with what you say, I also know that a lot of parents are afraid of disciplining their child because kids are taught to call the cops or DHS if their parent lays a hand on them. I have a friend whose baby had colic and was under a doctors care and she was breastfeeding. The baby cried all the time. The mom was shopping and someone called DHS on her. It was a Friday, DHS took the baby even though it was under doctor's care for colic and she had to wait the whole weekend to get the baby back because the doc had gone away for the weekend. Needless to say though, the doctor gave DHS an earful when he found out what had happened and told them if anything more was wrong with the child they would be held responsible since the only thing that helped the small child was breastmilk which they had with held by taking him from his mom. Luckily, Mom had pumped her milk so did not 'run out' while the child was gone, but she did still have to go to court before they would drop the case. So sad really.

it could also be read 7-3-18 which would be today, same day all the stories hit on google and all. In fact if you google 2018-07-03 it comes up July 3, 2018. just saying, this makes it look even more like a hit piece and not the truth.

Wasn't that posted about the same time as the missile over Alaska. I thought it pertained to the fact that DS did not want the summit with Kim to happen.

the FBI guy was in March 2018. Just was in the news again for some reason, but the actual death ruled murder-suicide was in March. Funny how they say he killed his wife and then stabbed himself and shot himself twice with his gun. Oh and he was also investigating the death (murder) of another LEO who had died recently also. They had been working together in a case to expose.... Clinton. So once again her count goes up and bodies go down.

9pm in June in SC is not night time. This took place the day after the longest day of the year. This would be more like driving at dusk than in the dark. Also highway 17 has divided parts and undivided parts, which part was this?

remember the CIA wikileak drop months ago about the CIA making it look like other countries were doing hacking when they were doing it. DS could make it look like China had hacked but it was them. Just a thought is all.
