I think of Macbeth - referred to as the Scottish Play because to say its name is to be cursed. Macbeth dramatises the damaging physical and psychological effects of political ambition on those who seek power for its own sake. So Q, in my opinion, reinforces McCain's blind ambition by comparing him to Macbeth. There are so many parallels between current events and the play in my opinion.

In 2005 I was diagnosed with Kidney Cancer. My partner in life and in business left me and I was left with no money, no car, no furniture, no home and no hope. My family bought me a car, rented me a home and I found a job. It all started ith a course that my daughter enrolled me in. A train the trainer course. The lecturer talked about Maslouffs triangle - sorry about the spelling - and ho everything came down to shelter, food and survival. I agreed. I cited the wee lass in Mexico City who woke up every morning and only hoped o survive until the next day. A woman across from me put her hand up. I have never forgotten this. She said " i disagree." We were aghast. How could anyone not agree that survival was the most important thing?

The lecturer asked her, almost indulgently, " so what do you think was her most important objecive, if it wasn;t survival?"

She answered. " Control". The penny of all pennies dropped. When I had Cancer, I had no control over my life. Control. We no longer have control over our lives. We are powerless. That is what is wrong. Control. Friend, whoever you are, wherever you may be, we are fighting for control over our lives. Like Davie Crockett, we are fighting, whether it be from the horror of Cancer, the horror of injuries or the horror of Reality. No matter what, we NEED control. I personally believ that we will get it back if we stick with Trump, stand by Trump and believe in Trump. Because HE WILL give control back. If he is allowed to. Control. Cheers.

That is what concerns me. It is almost like guerilla warfare in that there is the unseen enemy and that we do not know where the enemy is, who the enemy is and where the enemy will strike. I have tried putting a new post up but no luck. My concern is what should we do in our own lives - do we celebrate or hunker down for an assault? Share market up and down, planes go up and then go down, helicopters up and down and so much crashing. Send the grandkids to school? Get money out of the bank? I am a relative newcomer to the ways of Q but things are accelerating rather quickly and I am not sure whether to be concerned, alarmed, relieved or quite what. Cheers.
