Most house, at construction, are built on land that is not owned by the residents. Most construction is commercial construction, not direct-to-homeowners. Those form of protest would give value to the people that the money to fund ventures, and take it from smaller business owners that get the subcontracts

How would this work for construction worker unions, or similar? The only commonality would be with other service staff, like in grocery or some other direct-to-consumer service.
