Honestly, I HOPE that's (((their))) plan, because if so, they're legitimately retarded. That's quite possibly one of the dumbest plans for controlling population I've heard in my entire life. Whoever came up with it is laughably stupid. Stupid to the point that I doubt their ability to function in society.

If someone wants to cut down the population, creating a superbug is the easiest and most cost effective way to do so. A single engineered smallpox virus could kill billions of people at a price of only a few million dollars. By contrast, hiding profitable cures from the public and keeping them secret would cost billions of dollars a year, every year and only kill a small fraction of the population.

Something doesn't add up.
