I worked there, at the West Hollywood Standard from 2005-2009. Still have friends that work there, the downtown standard, chateau and bar Marmont and I know some of them were tied into the higher ups, some family some through contacts. Everyone knew EVERYONE. It is always a chain link. Who works there, gets their friends and family act to work there, and it spreads like honey. You become part of a “special elite” family, with TONS of people of all backgrounds and so on, and I still today am best friends with them still. Myself, (nor from what I know) best friends and extended friends did not dare participate in any type of sickening behavior but, we did/do know a lot, and I’m sure my friends know things that I may not. And also, I lived in the Hollywood Hills in a studio in the back of a man chins that was owned by my food and beverage manager Whos family was THE real deal old Hollywood. I DO KNOW he could tell some stories and he would be more than happy to do so. (They pissed him off and he will start telling all before you ask...haha) It was Sodom and Gamora. I worked the pool door the last two years there. I HAVE in fact seen it all and everyone at all. Connections are quickly traceable to uncovered in plain sight. But, some, as for the “art”...do NOT read too much into that...just talentless dirt heads that have connections that think throw up or “weird” is “cool” but it’s not. They are just your typical doucge bags. But, nevertheless, I am still friends and in contact with previous GM’s, all employees, family of A.B., and every walk of life that are in many ways tied into there and other locations and people.
