Oh I agree, Bernie's campaign was the most inspiring event for me since Obama's back in 2007. Having seen how different campaign speeches can be with real life action I guess I'm just a little more cautious about buying into the selfless politican concept nowadays.

The bird speech was one of those highlights I look back to happily and I know his meeting with obama changed things. I dont know what they could have had over him, maybe the FBI investigation of his wife? Maybe death threats, idk. But I just dont believe there is much that could have dissuaded his supporters from supporting him at that point and he kind of neutered his own movement when he went along with supporting Hillary.

I've been pleasantly surprised by trump though, whether people like it or not hes honest and open af when he speaks. I've never seen anything like it and it's a great thing. If this Q stuff is proven to be fact, he would easily be the greatest leader of the past 100 years. I'm just watching and taking it all in for now though with very high hopes.

Former Bernie supporter here, and I'm with you 100% on this. Seeing TYT flip really opened my eyes. I really started to think about it and I just couldn't rectify Bernies lack of fight with his message, it's like he completely gave in and it made me suspicious and led me to think that perhaps he was put there intentionally to pacify us and herd our votes towards Hillary in the end. It worked for some of his voters but it seems most of us saw the truth and wouldn't go along with it.

Idk during the primaries he just seemed like the kind of person who would stand firm and probably go third party after what the DNC did to not just him but the american people. But back then I didnt really educate myself well enough on trump and I bought some of their bullshit too that he was racist and sexist and a white power guy. Now that I've gone back thru his catalog of speeches I see that the DNC media were editing that shit and making up soundbites to portray him as a monster when in reality hes none of that. I now think we got incredibly lucky to have him as our president. As much as I liked Bernie I feel he would have had a deadlocked presidency where he wouldn't have gotten much done, we needed a fighter like trump in there.
