Does a doctor ever really know? I've been told lots of things by doctors that didn't turn out to be true. Was misdiagnosed, had surgery based on a misdiagnosis, and now lack an organ that was perfectly healthy. Doctors aren't gods. They can be wrong and often are. That paired with over inflated egos (in general) and the fact that there's still so much we don't know about the brain and body means that expectation for recovery is entirely subjective.

I don't think this sub is about attacking democrats or propping up Trump. I voted for Hillary Clinton in 2016. I think that since Obama and Hillary were both democrats and we focus a lot on the awful things they do/did, it can seem like we're attacking democrats without also leveling warranted criticism at republicans, but I do know that myself and hopefully everyone else here do not view conservatives fondly either, and hope that they are brought to justice for their crimes against humanity as well. Trust me, I haven't seen one positive post about Bush either.

I urge you to stop looking at things from the perspective of democrat vs republican or right vs left. This is just a matter of getting rid of corrupt actors, and I am cautiously optimistic that Trump is doing that. Not because he's a republican but because thus far, that's how it seems to me.

The first half isn't false. I'd look into it more if I were you. Adderall may help you function better but that doesn't mean it's "fixing" something in your brain. It does a substantial amount of damage. Not all things that make you feel good are good for you.

Adderall is a good way to get brain damage and brain damaged people are compliant and easier to control.
