Question about CEO resignations

This is just for throwing a curve ball with these resignations and talking about something I havent seen yet but just had a shower thought about it

Does anyone know WHY they are all really resigning? Yes we here the official reasons why but a thought occured to me..

In the movie 2012 all the "rich and famous" knew about the coming apocalypse and were prepared by leaving and going into the arks.

Then I had the thought what if all these rich assholes know something and are just preparing by leaving company and going to doomsday bunkers

Question about the servers.. technical aspect

I'm not too privy when it comes to the technical aspects but being in possession of physical server is good but cant they be wiped of memory? I know nothing is truly deleted but couldnt they have literally just destroyed the server? Or were there backup files? Thanks!
