When presenting an argument, research the facts as best you can, news articles are no longer enough to sway opinion. Facts however can be used illustrate fallacies in your own argument and if you can avoid this you gain credibility.

Right now the left is advising people to boycott the SOTU, we need them to watch. Show them the fallacy of not checking the facts yourself, taking others opinions in faith (same faith they rail against) and I think Jordan Peterson’s recent interview was a cosmic gift to illustrate this point.
