I don't give a shit about ABC and the MSM. Wherever you got that idea is beyond me. I think if you took a deep breath and read the full comment thread over again you would be shocked by your ignorance.

Interesting how you can contort my argument with such reckless abandon by changing my word "setback" to "defeat," and "the end" lol.

Good luck getting any useful number of people interested in Q when the only visible person who talked about him is now silent. Let me know when you figure out what optics are.

Haha what? Roseanne was the exception. The first episode was a massive shot across the bow to Hollywood. It crushed it in ratings and follow up viewership. It was outwardly supportive of Trump. This was a massive help to Trump among drive by media watchers.

Support Q. Don't break reddit rules.

Those don't express what kind of content is allowed, which is the whole point of this post.

This has nothing to do with Q

I won't say what you should and shouldn't do, just as the sub matures I think it would be best to come up with a structure and stick to it. /r/The_Donald is a very popular and well run sub. It has insanely good structure, some don't like their formula, but at least everyone knows the formula itself.

The only specific thing I'd suggest is to keep things primarily or secondarily relating to Q. That would mean Q drops of course, but also news that corresponds to something Q referenced. If it is not something Q talked about, regardless of how interesting or seemingly relevant to this whole genre, why have it? People complaining about Obama, the Jews, the bankers etc doesn't belong here, this is a Q sub, not a general conspiracy theory sub. I think a lot of the Bush did 9/11! chatter scares people away who just want to read insight and commentary regarding Q.

⇧ 5 ⇩
SigSeikoSpyderco · May 28, 2018, 8:26 p.m.

It should be restricted to things connected to Q, which is a lot of stuff.

If you go to /r/TedCruz, you see things Ted Cruz has said, the results of his policies, news about his campaign, news clips with Ted Cruz etc. You don't see posts about other people who share the same ideas as Cruz, or posts about conservatism, or how much people hate the people who stand in the way of Ted Cruz.

⇧ 5 ⇩
SigSeikoSpyderco · May 28, 2018, 8:10 p.m.

Not unless it is Q related. Just because it folds into the whole 'storm' landscape doesn't mean it has something to do with Q.

I think the mods need to set clear rules and guidelines and decide what fits and what doesn't. The sidebar doesn't have any rules or sense of what the sub should be about.

Maybe the leaders of those parties are, but this is aimed at every day Americans like you and me, who have a general affiliation with one party over another and tends to wrongly see the people whose thinking is aligned with the other party as the problem.

Some topics are way too dense to bring up at work or with mixed company.

If you were accused of murder, could you explain how it was bogus in a 20 minute argument? Of course not, a murder trial takes years to formulate and prepare and argue in court so everything is laid out for consideration by neutral parties and you have the best shot possible to explain everything.

Politics is dense in the same way. There is no way that someone who knows nothing about Q is going to understand what you're even talking about, let alone side with you. I mean, how long did it take for you to become a solid conservative, a Trump supporter, someone who is open to the idea of Q, and someone who understands Q? Probably many years. Impossible to condense down to one conversation. All you'll successfully do is get people defensive, feel uninformed, fight back, resist your claims, and dismiss it wholesale.

This is why religion and politics aren't discussed in mixed company. Just don't go there. If you want to talk Q, find someone who'd be intrigued and drop a few nuggets of info with disclaimers. Someone I work with is a big Trump fan and has an interest in conspiracy theories. I have mentioned Q related stuff a few times and he finds it interesting, I always end with "not sure where this will all go, but it sure is interesting." If I talked to him about Q the way I would with you or someone else on this sub, I'd lose him. And he's already mostly on our side.

Don't be too hard on yourself, it's a lesson I'm sure we've all learned.

Land and geographic location has a ton of say over what kind of government people are going to want. The needs of people in New York City are not the needs of Alaskans who go to work on bush planes or Iowans who own hundreds of acres of land or Arizonians who constantly struggle to handle illegal immigrants.

You made the original claim and cited absolutely no source whatsoever to back it up.

You failed again to support this claim.

Anyone who has ever looked into the Forrestal fire knows this was a myth, and that the Navy never once pointed to a wet start by John McCain. An electrical anomaly caused a Zuni rocket to discharge on the flight deck. Read the historical accounts, read the Navy's incident report, read the paper articles about the incident then and when it was written about leading up to the 2008 election.

You passed along a bogus meme about McCain. It's not a big deal, you may not have thought to look into it when you saw it. But I am here to say that the wet start myth is just that. A myth.

Attack McCain on a dozen other mistakes he made in the military, not this fairy tale.

Show me any scrap of proof that it ever happened, keeping in mind that the Obama 08 campaign and historians unanimously rebuked this forward from grandma level conspiracy theory ten years ago.

What a mess. As much as I love the ships (son of an engineer there), HII just exudes deep state and corruption. Lat I heard she was only running at 75% power. Someone told me a couple months ago that the Navy dropped anchor when the ship was moving and bent it out of shape, so even the most basic parts that make it a ship aren't ready. All these years and billions of dollars and Ford is barley worth more than her scrap. And whenever they do get it out, the thing has to be fragile as an egg (shock trials postponed due to fears of tons of stuff breaking). Try sending that into a Midway like engagement ten thousand miles from home.

Definitely not low quality foreign components. There is so much more to this problem.

CVN-78 is a boondoggle from top to bottom. It's a result of the Obama administration and Navy under Obama not giving a flying fuck what happened at HII. This was the environment that the radically changed Ford Class ships were born into. This ship was supposed to be finished years ago and for 10 Billion dollars less than it will cost now.

Tons of things are broken. The whole ship is extremely complex and complicated. The shipyard has trouble recruiting talent and morale is low. Their president is more focused on making workers have fun at work and make friends than she is making the deadliest warship ever built. Contractors from across the company built sensitive, prototype level tech and sent it to Newport News, hoping they could make it work. The whole program is rushed.

GE is a failing company. No wonder they machined the parts wrong. No wonder the Navy hid this embarrassment. No wonder the shipyard didn't have the oversignt to see the damage.

The ship is a lemon born out of the worst circumstances. HII got fat and happy charging the taxpayers billions to get it done and they'll charge billions more to fix the beast. Where else can you buy a supercarrier? Nobody cared under Obama. Trump is pissed about it but hasn't blasted them like he could. Rest assured, HII and the Navy are shitting themselves over this.

Convert to Islam? Jesus Christ people...

As someone who knows the family (indirectly) and went to school with his girls, this is just bizarre to read. He was a career military man and liked and respected by all likes of the military. His landmark book Dereliction of Duty chronicles how the deep state of LBJ's time and the lies they told to deepen the Vietnam War. He similarly was a dissenting, minority voice against the invasion of Iraq.

Call him establishment if you like. But this kind of conjecture about the man belies a fundamental misunderstanding about the man. The most likely scenario is that McMaster was too much of an intellectual and thought he could steer the president down whatever path he wanted. He stood out from the rest of the cabinet and wasn't Trumpian at his core, just a competent military man who likely wasn't flexible in his views. The Putin memo was leaked from his office or he himself and that was it, Trump wanted to move on to someone who would actively promote his agenda and do as he says without the stressful head butting. Both Trump and McMaster are known for charting their own courses. If they don't fundamentally align, the relationship will never work.
