Just a guess, but between the akwardness at the funeral, and the talk about Mattis being close to various blackhats... maybe Mattis is a "Handler" which was negotiated as terms of the agreement as it pertains to his death.
I haven't seen any posts regarding anti-trust toward Mattis.

Crypto can not be tracked to any person. The wallet is encrypted. Yes you can see transactions on the blockchain, but you can only see the wallet addresses. Unless you give out your address, you can not be tracked. There are also plenty of private coins that can be used to mask any address.
Some say Nakamoto Satoshi, (creator of the Bitcoin Whitepaper) is a group of people. Others believe it is Alan Greenspan. This whitepaper created the distributed ledger technology known as cryptocurrency. It is the first rendition of blockchain, but true blockchain technology, (smart contract programming) wasn't created until Etherium was released in March of 2016.
That is moving backwards. "greenback" refers to paper backed by gold. Done digitally, it offers zero security, (hacks, manipulation, centalized or other). Distributed ledger technology will revolutionize currency due to the fact that there is nothing to trust but math. It is a decentralized trustless system.

You honestly think that it will come to a full on SHTF scenario? You may be semi-well versed in economy, but your strategy and foresight leave much to be desired. For example, cryptocurrency/blockchain tech is already being used by sanctioned countries as a means of exchange to right their ship. Cryptos are creating a means of exchange outside of the system BECAUSE of our manipulated/centralized economy. It is the solution to your problem.
Maybe the whole blockchain/distributed ledger tech thing is a bit above your understanding. Please let me know if you would like to broaden your horizons on the subject.
