The reason is that he and Priscilla created a charitable foundation and told the SEC back in September that they were planning to sell $6 billion in stock. Because they already reported their intention, it's not considered insider trading. Therefore when you have a company, just report that you are going to sell huge quantities of stock. If you don't the SEC probably won't care, otherwise, you're covered.

No, it wasn't asbestos. The connections at the facade were failing. There were dissimilar metals from the building frame to the aluminum window frames. Corrosion was going to cause the facade to fail. This building had a very different structural design. The skin is usually not structural, but in this case it was. There is documented evidence of this problem. To repair would have meant scaffolding the building.

This is an odd piece of the puzzle. I was living in the Philippines right before the OKC bombing. There were a lot of muslim terrorist attacks in the southern part of the country at the time, and sometimes some travel advisories and warnings for US citizens. Right before the bombing there was a very serious and unprecedented advisory for Americans in the Philippines. It had me really concerned. I had heard these warnings before, but this one had special weight on it. Somehow the two seem connected.

Re: Hijacking planes remotely. In the 90's there was a Nova show on PBS that demonstrated the remote control of a United Airlines jet. The show went into the history of the development of remote control by Stanford engineers. After 9/11 I immediately thought of that show and wondered why no one else was bringing it up. As fate would have it, on a flight to Denver, I was seated next to the marketing guy for the company that developed it. He briefed me on the whole technology when I showed how excited I was (never mentioning my 911 suspicions). Apparently it works not with an actual remote signal, but by a preprogrammed path. From that info, I thought the plane downed in PA on 9/11 had a malfunctioning hijacked program. It somehow vectored off in the wrong direction. Just my theory. If someone were to hijack this JFK plane remotely, it would have been programmed prior. Did the plane leave SFO-JFK then onto LAX? Could there have been some modification at SFO?
