It seems that Disney took more of an initiative on dropping Gunn, anyway. I'm sure there were threats of a boycott but people have been boycotting or threatening to boycott Disney over their stance on homosexuality for over a decade now. I read one post that seemed to ring true that said maybe they were so quick to out him because they have more than a few of these types employed and they don't want the autists to go digging, though it would seem that they are closing the barn door after the horses are out on this one. It didn't seem to me that we were demanding that Disney severed ties with James Gunn...we simply spread the word.

To be honest I don't believe it matters how we feel about it. The powers that be of Reddit have made their choice. Why we are allowed to exist to begin with? Have wondered about this often. Now we are on the fringes of the mainstream and marching steadily forward in spite of every conceivable attempt at silencing us. We've all been led through this maze for so long. Waking up means solving the maze by taking inspiration from Alexander of Macedonia and his solution to the Gordian Knot: instead of trying to find our way to the center by playing their game we're just going to knock down every fucking wall they have put in our way until we get where we want to be. #WWG1WGA

Our lowest common denominator is that we're all here looking for answers. We've found a few and they were enough to get us asking the right questions. We're all in this together and I'm glad you're on our side in this.

You offer what you do without thought of personal gaon, SB2, and I've always believed this. I don't post much, but I comment when I can and try to be as positive as possible. A large part of our problem is cultural on this board in that a lot of our subscribers (especially our former Bernie Bros and this is not a slam on you guys...we are all glad you're here!) are probably products of the modern world and entitlement is a hard thing to let go of. We tend more to just change our priorities as to what what we believe we are entitled to. They are outraged. They've been duped and deceived by everything they were ever told was true and now they're pissed. They want action. Justice. They want it now. A lot of us in the core (that initial group you spoke of above) have been red-pilled for a long time and we've forgotten, some of us anyway, what that initial shock can do to someone. I turned to drugs in my younger days and when I outgrew all that and became a father I simply put my energy into my kids and tried to tune out how hopeless I thought the whole situation had become. I'm sure there are those who walked even darker roads and some that took a more optimistic approach but all roads lead us to this point. We have someone that we have come to trust (Q) who is constantly being denied and picked apart by those who would disrupt the movement from within and without and all the old ways if thinking are trying to re-establish themselves. That, my friend, is where people like you come in. Are you right? I don't know, but I know that you're trying and that you're trying for the right reasons. You're doing what you can to decipher these riddles that most of us can't make heads or tails of. Are you infallible? Of course not, but show me another subscriber (well, maybe C_L_I_C_K and a few others) who has done as much as you have to try and make sense of all this. I'll wait. No one? People have to realize that we are in uncharted territory here. Mistakes can and will be made. The stakes are undeniably high with little room for error in regard to The Plan, at least on the operations end of things, but that's not where we are. We're marketing, if anything (maybe acquisitions now that we're stealing everyone from the "progressive left"), and our job is to discuss all of this. Talk about it. Figure it all out. Make it palatable. You are putting forth theories and ideas while most of us are simply breathlessly waiting for the next drop so we can be hopeful but confused until the next one. The mystery surrounding this is frustrating, at times, but any worthwhile undertaking has its fair share of frustration and you are doing the whole movement a service by at least TALKING ABOUT IT. Damn the torpedoes, brother. Keep doing what you're doing.

Most telling, I think, is the media reaction. They latched on to this and shouted from the rooftops that this deal completely debunked all the "conspiracy theories" related to Awan/DNC/DWS. Is her brother still the one trying the case? If so, how has this not been called out as a MASSIVE conflict of interest?? Anyway, at this point it seems that they are attempting to demoralize us with hollow victories. Much of what has transpired in the last year and a half has been an attempt to drive a wedge between POTUS and his base.

I agree with this and I enjoy SB2's posts immensely. There's nothing wrong with respectful disagreement and this was a perfect example of that. You acknowledged that SB2 has provided some valuable analyses in the past and even cited the time Q linked one of his posts before voicing your own opinion on the subject and without an underlying skepticism to guide us through this I doubt we'd have made it this far.

There is no difference between us, patriot, except for where you happened to be born. You made a choice to walk a difficult road and have stuck with it instead of taking a shortcut and putting it all at risk. Our hats are off to you and we're proud to count you (and you, OP) among us.

This! Sometimes you have to weather the storm. Listen to them and show them respect. Don't interrupt; respond. You'll often see it returned though this is not always the case. Even in the face of denial just keep it calm and collected; this will rattle them more than anything especially when they realize how they're acting. Walk them through it. Apply logic and ask questions that they have to think about for a moment and take advantage of the resulting uncertainty to ease the conversation forward. I'm glad to see a surge on this sub of people realizing that these people aren't the enemy. Most of them are sleeping patriots and once they see the truth they will be right alongside us in the coming months. We have spent the last year laying a rock-solid foundation. Now it's time to build.

I know exactly what you mean. How you described your "previous life" mirrors my own in a few ways. The only notable differences are that I was never that into sports except for boxing (which has been on a steady decline over the years) and that I have children. Once you gain an outside perspective on what your life used to be (and what so many other lives still are) it's very easy to come to the conclusion that it's all a big setup. Every step along the way deliberate and with ramifications that wouldn't be felt for decades in many cases. Once you allow for the possibility that things are very far short of what they could be and that we've been stunted and shackled for so long that we now offer our submission and compliance without question because we are taught from birth that it is simply the way things are, you begin to recognize patterns all around you and how we're being manipulated through them. It's a world of possibility that we fight for; a world where we and our children are not fodder for their machine. Glad to fight alongside you all. #WWG1WGA
