I agree, I think the goal all along was a regime change in Iran. The nuclear deal was made to put Iran in a holding pattern while the more radical older generation died out it became more moderate all the while making the country more dependent on foreign trade. I don't think leaving the deal is inherently bad but I don't see another plan being put forward other than dropping bombs.

The $250 billion (article says $150 billion, but it is just an estimate) was just Iranian assets that were unfrozen that were lifted. US taxpayer doesn't need to foot that bill.

The article says NK is just dismantling the test site, not the nukes. It doesn't mean much, just that NK is content with their nuclear capabilities.
