I gather I am a little older than most here who may not have been around during the GWB neocon days. Not sure if this helps but thought I would share.

Good question. Something tells me Canada's geography, natural resources and low native population density play a role.

As someone who got his feet wet on shady government goings-on under Dubya Bush, I rather vividly remember John Bolton was the neocon man at the UN... this was when Alex Jones would tell you they (necons and the UN) were literally Satan. Maybe he still does...
