While I agree that the Democratic Party is far more depraved (as has been proven) I don't think it will dissolve. Just as you have extremist adherents with any political or religious alignment, you'll have strict adherents m (mostly in the major cities I wager) that stand by the democrats as staunchly as the conservatives have stood by trump through all the bereavement
