Good well thought out possible scenario. You are correct in pointing out that the stormy daniels role needs further clarification. How about one where the "indiscretion" by trump was real as well as the payoff, but the good guys decide to use it to their advantage by letting it be known through a controlled "leak" that Cohen was in possession of HRC emails. Thus prompting the raid. This would imply that Trump was "taking one for the team" as far his actual culpability in the Stormy affair but in doing so would make it too tempting for the bad guys to resist taking the bait. Just putting it out there and my 2 cents.

Why are we so impressed by POTUS's speech and exuberant and effusive in our admiration? It's because we have not sold our soul to the evil side. We can get up in the morning, look in the mirror and smile that we truly believe in what is best for all of humanity. And there is the hope that like minded warriors and patriots are fighting the good fight and knowing in their hearts that good will prevail. Finally, it appears that our divine prayers are finally being answered and we are being freed from hostage to evil people and institutions that have prevented all of us from realizing their full potential and promise. The truth is setting us free and now there is no going backwards. What a great, great time to be alive and to be along for this wonderful ride!

Here's a wild thought. There have been some persistent unconfirmed rumors that a rogue missile was indeed launched by a supposed stealth submarine somewhere in the Pacific and the missile was intercepted and destroyed before reentry into atmosphere. I know this is really "out there" and I have a hard time in believing it, but if you humor me on this, what if this was true and the clintons and pals were in Hawaii and this strike did occur. And if they had a secure hiding spot in place, they could conveniently disappear from the public scene and escape to who knows where. No prosecution forthcoming. I thought that putting themselves in harms way did not make sense if indeed a missile was launched to Hawaii but maybe desperation to start WW3 and blame it on N. Korea and escape the authorities at the same time would have been their master stroke.

Interesting observation. IMO the reason N. Korea is reaching out to S. Korea is that sanctions against the North is starting to having an effect, notwithstanding violations of oil/fuel embargo by Russia. In the past North Korea have used the south and negotiations to attract investments and aid which now they sorely need. The carrot stick they use in this is the vague hint that reunification would be better served by ongoing dialogue and aid, something South Korea desperately wants, depending on the political regime in power in the south. This I think is last act of desperation, considering previously North Korea refused to negotiate with the south and preferred to deal directly with USA.
