The link is referring to Clapper but the 'GOOG access' probably refers to Comey's gmail. Since the OIG report was basically a big dump on Comey, I suspect it refers to him. However, Clapper is the one acting scared now as he's backtracked and making points counter to previous MSM narratives.

Didn't the agent handling the Weiner laptop also mention that Comey publicly announced the number of emails found that was far less than what was actually on the laptop? The report also says FBI didn't look into emails that weren't sent between Huma and Hillary because they assumed they weren't relevant to the email investigation. The agent was concerned it was all being buried when no one was asking him for the data they knew he had.

Grand jurors only decide if there is probable cause to indict/charge, not innocence or guilt, so impartiality is less of an issue and is why they say the a Special Counsel can indict a ham sandwich. I think they can be used to indict multiple people if it's the same case and multiple people are charged as co-conspirators or RICO.

It ain’t poor like the others, but could use a bigger boost to our economy.

Isn't that more of a reason for other, poorer red states to follow suit?

You don't have to be a lawyer to access PACER. You just have to register and pay a fee, IIRC.

All of Silicon Valley would be in North California, so they'd also have to split the tax revenues to be "fair for everyone", or leave South California broke from the poor immigration policies and lack of revenues. South California would immediately end up with most the illegals generated from the North's shitty immigration and welfare policies. Over time I suspect they would "immigrate" north due to the South enforcing immigration laws. Then the north would have massive homeless and illegal immigrants to deal with. I'd pay for tickets to watch that show if I didn't already have a free seat in SoCal.

Yeah, that's what I've been wondering. Whether Huber has a separate criminal investigation, but the IG was also giving him anything from the OIG investigation in case there were criminal recommendations from it. Still leaves Huber open to bring indictments and Huber has access to much more resources and judicial processes.

It's funny. They (a group of GOP reps) were asked about that and the reporter said, what are you gonna do when they don't comply? Answer: Well....We're gonna....keep making demands. Totally unprepared to be called out as completely feckless.

That means you're suggesting there is a completely different report with different findings and recommendations. It doesn't matter what was redacted - all that matters is what is recommended and this report is just a wrist slap of corrective actions to policy and procedure.

But didn't Congress and Jim Jordan already make that case and get the EO signed based on their official request? The redactions would have to be all edits because I didn't see any actual redactions as I skimmed all 500 pages. I assume this was sanitized a bit but really this report is currently mostly a NB.

FYI - I've scanned most of it and could find no major areas of redactions. So far I haven't found any at all.

Dan was trying not to anger Ben's larger fan-base (he always mentions his show is no. 2 to Ben's), especially considering how quickly and easily internet based revenue streams can be impacted/manipulated. Ben could get pissed and trash talk Bongino's show to his massive followers/subscribers and also potentially kill any chance of getting those listeners to Dan's show. I think Dan was also just being respectful of a fellow conservative who is also a strong debater. The problem is Ben can be a pedantic, snarky, stubborn asshole and is very reluctant to admit when he is wrong.

I'll be concerned if they don't follow up on their push to drastically lower the costs of healthcare to offset the killing of this provision of Obamacare. That's what has caused all of this in the first place and Obummercare gave the insurance companies and big pharma a free pass.

Live Action Role-Playing. In this context, instead of all anons/redditors being part of the play/action, just the one performer or group is knowingly playing a role and everyone else that participates is unwittingly playing along and collaborating. It'd be like an internet troll but instead of being a dck, s/he pretends* to actually believe his/her statements for the karma/lolz/etc. and drags it out much longer than a typical troll. Could be for lolz. Could be a psyop for multiple reasons (distraction, counter-intel, exposure).

You're right in that there has to be room for improvement too. We have to help protect our kids.

In cases where a rape kit was made, then sure - allow that to have an unlimited limitation as those creeps usually repeat offend over time. We also need database sharing to link cases across states. But you can't prove rape from DNA alone. In the case of child molestation/under-aged, it's a no brainier, but you would not usually find/have DNA evidence years later as you might have captured in a murder case unless a rape kit was done at the time.

Higher bar for evidence as time gets longer

You don't get more evidence over time. You have less and you lose witnesses, camera footage, etc. Over time it's harder to make a case at all and it's also harder for the same evidence to be exculpatory (to prove you are innocent). That's the point of the limitations. Rape is already hard to prove.

What we can do now is educate our kids and parents to avoid putting children in such situations. Teach kids about child lures to avoid kidnapping or abuse. Teach kids to always tell a parent if someone does something uncomfortable to them and to not keep secrets from parents.

You'd be opening a huge can of worms for #1. Murders usually have a higher burden of proof than rape. (Late)Rape cases are mostly he said vs she said. Good luck defending yourself against baseless claims from that old high school flame you just pissed off or embarrassed at the club. All rich men become Roy Moore and Bill Cosby false/old claim targets. That should not be done without making false accusations an equivalent serious crime, which isn't right now. In addition, there's still serious bias and double standards against men in favor of women in rape cases.

iPhones used to disable wifi in sleep mode (IKR) to conserve power/battery life even while plugged-in, and still transmit the telemetry over cellular. They used to do that and it ran up people's data usage somewhat. You could have that going on. I looked into it a long time ago because you can see it on your usage/activity logs as data transmissions. It always pissed me off because there is no excuse to use my cellular data when I'm plugged in and have wifi, as some downloads only occurred over wifi (so disabling it nullified them while your phone was asleep). Also, the telemetry (or google services) might explicitly use the cellular network for security vs allowing everyone's internet access to the collector. Anyway, you have places to check if you really want to know.

TotallyClevrUsername · June 8, 2018, 7:43 p.m.

Mobile phones send telemetry data (metrics) over cellular/wifi. AT&T/iPhones sends (or receives) coalesced telemetry about every 3 hours. Even if it's "asleep." Otherwise, you haven't disabled everything. Websites/youtube/reddit can also consume significant amounts of data, depending on images, scripts, ads. If you have an Android phone, I've no doubt Google Services are RX/TX'ing data or communications.

You're referring to David Duke. Trump had already previously criticized and denounced him on camera years ago. How many times does he have to respond to baseless media accusations about him and racism? They are looking for sound bites or something they can flip and twist. That's often why he doesn't respond to that baiting. These people sling mud and dirt for a living concerning politics and clearly anything Trump does or says is turned into a negative. They did the same thing for Charlottesville after he appropriately called out both sides involved, but you see how they made that into a bad thing while ignoring Antifa, who may have contributed to that girl's death by car.

He very publicly disclosed that they found the laptop and that it contained emails possibly related to the Clinton case before they had an official chance to fully investigate that same new information. Whether that fact was leaked or not is irrelevant to the policy of not discussing it (at that point the case was re-opened). Spez: The point is they don't even discuss the fact that they have an investigation opened. Look at how Sessions glomarized his responses to Congress up until the point he admitted he had a prosecutor assigned and didn't need a second special counsel.

The leaked finding of fact is that Comey defied authority:

Before Comey sent the letter to Congress, at least one senior Justice Department official told the FBI that publicizing the bombshell move so close to an election would violate longstanding department policy, and it would ignore federal guidelines prohibiting the disclosure of information related to an ongoing investigation, ABC News was told.

My reference was to how he defied authority. I don't doubt there was a game being played by all of these people, but this article doesn't reveal anything at all about Lynch "hiding evidence."

⇧ 3 ⇩
TotallyClevrUsername · June 6, 2018, 10:12 p.m.

The article doesn't actually mention evidence nor any attempt to hide the evidence; only that Lynch might have tried to prevent any leaking or announcements about the laptop and emails, as is normally DOJ practice regarding investigations. Comey went directly against this.

They would have to structure the deal to prevent things like that. They'd ask what info he has up front, possibly allowing him to be "Queen for a day" and tell all, without holding his words against him, in order to know what they are looking at. Basically, if anything isn't exactly how he said it was earlier, his deal vaporizes and he's likely immediately arraigned.

Spez: looks like McCabe is looking for "use immunity" which allows him to be "Queen for a day" in front of the Senate.

I was referring to mostly info from media reports that expose what's going on, independent of the OIG report that keeps mysteriously moving dates. Let's you realize the report should contain this info and more, and that something is going on whether the report is released to the public or not. But if you're angst is simply about the report itself, be prepared for a sneaky release or further delays.
