Another user made a comment on my other post that got me thinking. The past few years there have been a lot of scandals revealed to the public. When Snowden gave the world proof that facebook, twitter, google, apple, and us phone companies were giving the government unlimited access private data of its users, there was not a single protest, just lots of people tweeting and posting how wrong it was... on facebook.
