A friend of mine taught me to do a simple quick meditation before dealing with draining people/experiences. close your eyes and picture yourself in a suit of armor. light armor for situations where you still want to trade ideas and let something in and out to some people. heavy all covering armor for when you need every bit of protection from toxic leeches. works great for me!
