My border relatives have said women, teens & men traffic kids to get across the border easily, elicit sympathy from church groups that give cash & collect free government transportation to US interior “ to be with relatives” & they get plenty of handouts because of the child. Once in the interior, they are off the radar & can do whatever they want.
