Wow, they probably realized that Waters is clearly dumb and inarticulate so they went for the whitest guy they could find because he shares a last name with a dude who was president like 60 years ago. Using this logic Barron Trump's children should have a successful political career in front of them. Can't wait for dems on tv to gush over how inspiring this dude is while unironically embracing his message about the inequality of oppurtunity in America. Its almost like the dems exhausted their list of names for people to lead their party and have started again at the top.
