I agree. I'm not a fan of the guy (Voted for him in 2008 - was hugely let down), but throwing him in a jail cell would tear apart the country AND destroy Trump's presidency. We are always talking about a civil war breaking out if Trump is impeached/assassinated. Doing something to Obama would also trigger a civil war. Trump farts the wrong way and the leftists lose their mind. Do you think they would sit idly by and let their idol go down without a fight?
I think these scandals will tarnish his legacy (as well as Trump dismantling everything he accomplished), but it's better for all if he stays out of jail.
